Dear Kojo T,

What this impersonator is saying does not even make sense. The US is a nation-state as Ghana is, so what is his confused comment about? Are America and Ghana not two countries, nations? Maybe he is trying saying to say something only he understands.
Thanks.

Greetings, Brother Greetings!!! Thanks for all your work on various fora and especially at GhanaHero!! Keep on lambasting and pulverizing these traitorous scum!!
On a different note, dis wan massa beg I dey beg ooh! Please consider severing Diedong Dombo from busia/danquah treason gang. As you well know politics often makes for strange bedfellows!! Chief Dombo was never a PDA detainee, he and the Northern People Party were neither confederalists nor ever threaten seccession; further the originators of the terror campaign were Asante, Akyem & Ga self described " natural rulers, whose parochial pro British positions had been rejected by the electorate in these areas in favor of the CPP!! It is apparent that the most vehement, hateful and treasonous opposition to Nkrumah emanated from the aforementioned areas where the CPP was indomitable; these elements loath to yield their privileges were the disloyal opposition!! The fact is that the matemeho folks were only able to contribute one parliamentary seat to the United Party delegation of 35 a testament to the absolute dominance by the CPP in Asante Akyem and Ga!! Further, the MATEMEHO folks only allied with NPP, Muslim Association Anlo Youth Congress etcetera to mask their politically untenable position and to be able to project a suitable image for their neocolonial masters while regarding their putative allies as " Ntaafu ni Kramorfu eni Ayigbefu ni Mentementefu cannon fodder!!
Finally Diedong Dombo was pointedly excluded from the NLC political bureau, a leading indicator that he was not considered anti- Nkrumah enough!! As you are aware the NPP of today does not invoke his name nor pay him any respect!!

When the founding fathers of the US were gathering idea as to how their new nation should look like, they did that through diverse opinions. They did not belong to the same political party There were the "federalist", "Wig" etc meaning they have different political ideologies and policies but as humans, who are poised to leave their footprints for future posterity, they were able to bury whatever difference they have and forged forward. That is the United States we all cherish today.
What about ours? You have been able to come out with all the flaws from the opposition, leaving your tin-god unscathed. Nkrumah could not do anything on his own. Even, someone paid for his expenses from the US to come and join the struggle for independence. In the end, what happened?
If you are that objective, can you come out with some of the mistakes you "tin-god" made? He wasn't perfect right or wrong?
The bomb that went off at Kulungugu, was the work of those around Nkrumah but the opposition was quickly blamed. Why? Now, if Mahama is going to commission some project anywhere in Ghana, why do you think the opposition will be tasked to present him with something or prepare where he will sit? Do you think it was the opposition who gave the flowers to the little girl to be given to Nkrumah?

Pericles, the U.S. Of today is the product of war - a war in which the winners will prevailed. The confederates had no say in the design of the aftermath. Thankfully, thanks to Nkrumahs wisdom Gh didn't suffer a war despite the best efforts of those Busia-Danquah traitors. It's interesting to note that after the PD Act & the flight of Busia & others, those acts of terrorism, intended to create disunity & war & federalism stopped. You have to be grateful for that, or Ghana today wouldn't be dissimilar to South Sudan, Congo.

History is distorted with Nkrumaist vim and energy by a so-called intellectual. It is with great disappointment that Dr. Lungu also mentions that Busia took a $25,000 bribe to stall the nation's independence. Actually Nkrumah himself says it was twenty five thousand pounds, not dollars. This lazy write-up is not worth the paper it is written on.

Where is the distortion? Is it the dollar sign instead of the pound sterling sign that bothers you? You convert $25,000 into pounds. The exchange rate in the 1950s was 2.8 US dollars to one British/Gold Coast pound.

Sorry to say this!
That is precisely the sort of illogical suppositions and perverted view of history that is also in part responsible for Ghana's inability to stand up and maintain "INSTITUTIONS".
It is the same type of fable many Danquah-Busia-NLC-PP-NPP cohorts deliver when they take Dr. Afari-Djan's "If...Then" statement as fact, then quote self-serving political statements as balanced, objective truths. Next, when new evidence crop up (new discoveries/reports, unclassified materials), they play dumb, blind, and even dead.
1. We ourselves are not even aware Nkrumah addressed this conduct of traitor-Busia before.
2. When traitor-Busia stands at US Embassies and demands cash from Washington DC, (and complains to politicians in US that Nkrumah's government is opening lines of communications with other government), you don't expect the discussion to be in "pounds sterling".
3. Amount we mention is just one documented instance shown in the record. Therefore, we cannot operate as if this was the first and only occasion.
4. Busia's (and Danquah's) activities did not just stall Ghana's independence. Those activities actually led directly to the overthrow of Nkrumah's government. (In that sense, Patriot may need to read this "Essentials" essay one more time).
5. In sum, the apologies to Ghana are in order!
BTW: Where is the "Dr. Lungu" from, Patriot?

KKO You no save foohko!! For your info and edification: The 24Feb1966 was the bloodiest to occur in Ghana, with heavy fighting around Flagstaff House, Kanda, 37 Military Hospital and the environs of Burma Camp. Skirmishes occurred between Bundase and Tema between armored squadrons of the POGS and 1bn from Michel Camp at Tema. The POGS units under the distinguished and courageous command of LtCol. Robert David Zanlerigu, valiantly held their own inflicting major casualties on the forces under the command of Col Kotoka! The fighting did not cease until the afternoon of the 26Feb. It was a close run affair, had the loyal troops in Accra known that an armored relief column from Bundase had forced LtCol Ocran to abandon the field, withdrawing 1bn to Michel camp and were poised to enter Accra by the Tema motorway it is probable the coup would have been suppressed!! The valiant Col Zanlerigu agreed to lay down arms after several appeals by Madame Fathia Nkrumah!!
The bulk of Kotoka's column came from 6bn Kamina Barracks Tamale not Kumasi and did not include the Boys Company!! The armored squadrons of the POGS was combined with squadrons from Sunyani after the coup
and posted to Ho as the Armored Reconnaissance Regiment. After the abortive counter coup by the patriot Lt S.B Arthur of blessed memory, the unit was purged of former POGS officers and deployed to Gondar Barracks where most Ghanaians now know them as the Recce Regime and replaced at Ho by the Mortar Regiment!!

2) Are you by chance implying again that members of the AFRC were the "smart" ones and Afrifa "dummy" because they outwitted him and put him to death (firing squad)?
3) Are you by chance implying that the US, Britain, France, etc., that supported the coup are the "smart" but failed to come to Afrifa's and Kotoka's aid because they [Afrifa and Kotoka] were "dummies?"
Please, social democrat KKO don't come back screaming "tribalism" at me because I drew these conclusions on your weird assumptions.
