The classic case of Operation Greylord 1978 which unearthed corruption in the Cook county Judicial system is cited.

  This is one thing I fully agree with Mr. Adofo on. The absurd vilification of Anas for the work he did by those who ought to know better can only be interpreted as an attempt by those who most likely have the same propensity to Corruption but not yet caught to defend the indefensible criminal behavior. Their attack on Anas is rather an indirect defense of the act of corruption. These folks are the very people who seem to believe that certain members of our Society are above the Law, and that no matter what crime they commit, we should simply suck it up, and let them keep on doing whatever they do to harm us and the Nation.
  
  These folks shamefully want us to see them as specially deserving of no prosecution for any crimes they commit. We must therefore expose them as culpable in perpetuating corruption in Ghana as those who have been caught red-handed by Anas.
  
  All decent Ghanaians must condemn the behavior of the Judges outright, without any reservations. The purpose of showing the Video was to let the Public see how definitively guilty the Judges are of committing the crimes Anas revealed. In that way, no Judge adjudicating the case could manipulate it to free the culprits on some technicalities.
  
  All those claiming the inverted moral high ground of blaming Anas instead of the Judges, have all failed to do anything to curb corruption in Ghana, possibly, more because they all stand to gain most from the maintenance of the status quo.
  
  It is shameful and most regrettable. We must not give them an inch of reprieve if any of them are also caught to be committing similar corruption. If they are caught on video, the video must be put on a wide screen in a Public Park for all to see before they are brought to the Court.

  The argument to me is not about the sting operation or the honey trap neither is it the means or the method used.But if you want the offence to succeed in a court of law then having gathered the evidence,the evidence must be given to law enforcement to follow due process.
  
  It seems to me that we are using our heart instead of our head in this case.It is either an operation to expose and disgrace the culprits or a national exercise to expose and prosecute these criminals.To do this we must be careful as not to compromise the evidence through actions that will render some of the evidences unreliable because it had been tainted.
  
  Even though entrapment may be wrong and the method employed unacceptable in many jurisdictions,it may be excused on public interest argument. And that is all but to go on and market the evidence as had been done by Anas whilst legal proceedings are on going is absolutely against the law.
  
  Having entrapped the judges Anas should have handed the materials to the police whose duty it is to see whether a crime has been committed and prosecute it if so. Under English law, evidence that would otherwise be admissible at trial may be excluded at the discretion of the trial judge if it would be unfair to the defendant because the evidence has been played up in the public arena as to make impossible to be fair to the defendant.
  
  Anas expose is provoking an atmosphere of public hysteria akin to a lynch mob which not only makes a fair trial nearly impossible but means that regardless of the result of the trial the accused will not be able to live the rest of their life without intense public scrutiny.
  
  That is why In the United Kingdom, strict contempt of court regulations restrict the media's reporting of legal proceedings after a person is formally arrested.
  
  These rules are designed so that a defendant receives a fair trial in front of a jury that has not been tainted by prior media coverage. The newspapers the Daily Mirror and the The Sun have been prosecuted under these regulations in the UK.

  You guys are branding anybody who thinks perhaps Anas may have overstepped the law as vilifying Anas. It seems you guys don't believe that it may just be possible that Anas is operating in the grey areas of the law and he may have slightly crossed a certain line.
  
  Pointing out this fact should not be construed as vilifying Anas. As Osei Kofi has pointed out, we are thinking with our hearts, rather than our heads. Because we have seen that Anas has done a great service to us all in exposing these people, (yes, that is very true) we have stopped thinking with our heads.
  
  And so we have even failed to see one gaping hole in Adofo's argument. He says that the police employ sting operations so Anas too is right to use sting operations.
  
  But Anas is NOT a policeman. He is a private citizen trying to do good. There are certain powers invested in the police that are not available to private citizens.
  
  Even the police can be criticized in their use of the powers vested in them to prevent crime and wrongdoing. How much more a private citizen???
  
  We support Anas in his efforts and we wish him well in continuing those efforts. But he should keep within the confines of the law. That is not vilification of Anas!

  You can assume all you want as to how many of us that have come out against the vilification of Anas think. I would emphatically say that none of us would think with the heart because these cases would have to be proven at the Court of Law, and that would entail the manner in which the supporting evidence to incriminate the Judges were gathered.
  
  I assure you that if only our Judges who would adjudicating the cases would be fair enough, the problem of how Anas gathered the evidence would be the least to worry about. This is because he conducted his work as a professional Licensed Private Eye, whose work is allowed by Law.
  
  Secondly, the tactics Anas used is similar to what many Law Enforcement Agencies around the World have been using to bust various dangerous criminals including Drug smugglers and dealers, terrorists and high level Officials of various Governments.
  
  Anas, as Lawyer himself, knew what would be admissible in Court and what would not. And in cases where some gray areas have been entered into, he could well argue the circumstances to show the authenticity of his work.
  
  We should first of all concede the fact that ignorance is no excuse for infringing upon the Law. And upon that concept, we could argue that if someone deceived you to commit Murder, you could still be held accountable for Murder.
  
  If the Judges were Law abiding enough, no amount of trickery could have broken their wall of integrity to get them to commit the crime charged. You may not have seen the Video yet. But those of us who have seen even snippets of them are convinced that those Judges involved in those cases we saw did have the intent to commit the crime and proceeded to commit them. Period! There was a prima facie solidly established in those videos.
  
  We often dwell on the assumption that so long as one does not get caught for committing a crime, the culprit remains innocent. That is a fallacy. The fact remains that the crime was committed. The proof that ought to established is whether it was a particular individual we have apprehended that committed the crime. It is such fallacy that breaks down our will to go after suspects in crime, especially Corruption in Ghana.
  
  But folks knew, sometimes via personal experiences, how corrupt some of these Judges were before Anas mounted his investigations. So, low and behold, if these culprits have been caught red-handed, the least we should be discussing is the manner in which they were exposed.
  
  You must remember most crimes exposed could only be so revealed through some undercover work by the Law Enforcement Agencies. Moles are planted in criminal organizations to learn all they could to help the Law Enforcement Agencies penetrate the workings of these organizations to break them down. Sometimes the moles themselves would have partake in some of the crimes to convince the real original or real criminals that they are part of them. These moles are not prosecuted or faulted for their roles, without which the criminal organization would still be operating with impunity.
  
  And yes, Anas has been vilified by some of the Legal Professionals and private individuals. It is not just that they expressed doubt of the admissibility of his work. And no one should even keep talkjng about Anas being cruel to destroy the lives of the Judges involved, as some have said elsewhere. How about the lives of the victims whose cases were twisted by the corrupt Judges?

  Cabinet has given approval for the enactment of a Whistle Blowers Act to encourage people with information on corruption to report to the appropriate agencies for the law to take its cause.
  
  The Attorney-General and Minister for Justice, Papa Owusu Ankomah, disclosed this at Sekondi in the Western Region. He was addressing the Sekondi Youth Congress of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
  
  A Whistle Blower is someone who tells people in authority or public about dishonest or illegal practices in business and government. The passage of the Whistle Blower’s Act by Parliament will be the fulfillment of yet another promise by the government.
  
  The government on assumption of office promised a zero tolerance for corruption and assured that it would set up an accountability office at the office of the President which has already been realized. In addition it assured that it will table before Parliament a Whistle Blowers Act to encourage people to volunteer information on corruption practices
