In my opinion neither Akuffo-Adzo nor Mahama are fit to be president!
I am not cognizant of all the in and out's of this "law certificate" imbroglio, however I see it as much ado about nothing!! I believe one has to pass the bar exam to be licensed to practice law. Therefore there is a presumption that a successful candidate has sufficient knowledge of the law to represent a client adequately!! Adequate representation then is the standard; has anyone asserted let alone substantiated any allegation that Akuffo-Addo failed to adequately represent even one client? That is emphatically not the case. In fact Akuffo-Addo has secured major legal victories in our legal system, some of these victories have even established Supreme Court precedents that are regularly cited in our courts!! If the Middle Temple saw fit to enroll him, whether he had a third class degree in economics is a moot question. Further his employment at Courtois et Freres would qualify for pupillage (internship), it is my understanding that the term "administrateur" in the French legal context is not equivalent to the term "administrator" in English!! In fact the responsibilities of an " administrateur" includes much if not most of the functions of a " solicitor" i.e.: Interviewing potential client, evaluating cases and preparing briefs for barristers who represent clients in court!! It is an open secret among cognoscenti that most legal arguments presented in court are crafted by solicitors to include legal theories, precedents and citations, as the saying goes any solicitor is capable of arguing a case in court however the average barrister depends on a solicitor to mount a credible argument in court. I highly doubt that therefore that Courtois et Freres would have hired Akuffo-Addo unless he indeed passed the Middle Temple! One must also take into account the concept of "attorney in fact" which in the modern era most often occurs when a layperson represents themselves in a criminal trial!! In fact unless the practice has been discontinued relatively recently "attorneys in fact" were allowed to represent clients in magistrate or circuit court! I would hazard a guess that most police officers who act as prosecutors in our circuit courts are " attorneys in fact" not barristers!!
I am willing to give Akuffo-Addo the benefit of the doubt in the instant matter. His record as a barrister is strong enough to buttress the factual assertions he has made as to his qualifications, the Middle Temple has never categorically debunked his claims and respected law firms do not hire unqualified persons to act as solicitors especially when a major part of his job would presumably include liason and coordination with law firms in the very jurisdiction that said person purportedly obtained his legal education!!
In conclusion there are no viable grounds or locus (that sorely missed word) to challenge Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo's qualifications as lawyer or barrister!!

There is no doubt he is ideologically opposed to the NPP. But if that were his only concern, he'd keep his criticism to the realms of ideas and policy. My hunch is that he is taking on a vengeful campaign on behalf of Justice Kpegah, who has an axe to grind with Nana Addo.

As the most senior justice at the Supreme Court during Kufuor's 8-year administration, Kpegah was overlooked for the position of Chief Justice. Indeed, Kpegah felt so deserving of the position that in his last years before retirement he used to refer to himself as the deputy Chief Justice, a position that doesn't exist.

Since Kufuor can no longer run for office, Kpegah has since retirement focused his attention on ruining the political ambitions of Nana Addo, who is not only the flagbearer of the NPP but was also the Attorney General and Minister of Justice when Kpegah was overlooked for the role of CJ. Is it any wonder that Bokor claims he has all the affidavits filed by Nana's legal team in response to Kpegah's suit, a suit so baselessly malicious that he himself refused to show up in court to argue it?

In my exchange with Bokor yesterday, I challenged him to publish his certificate. In response, he wanted me to email him so he could in-box me his certificates and other awards. But Bokor does not need to email me his certificates. He should do exactly what he is demanding of Nana Addo: publish his certificate on the worldwide web if he thinks that's how one should treat their certificates.

Kufuor allegedly allowed his ministers to buy up state lands and other properties. But it's public knowledge that Nana Addo rejected these spoils. It is also public knowledge that the man declined per diets and the use of a state-provided bungalow.

Look, if you have evidence of the man having committed a crime, be it corruption or something else, by all means bring it out with the evidence. We'll support you because we all don't want a fraud for president. But to sit down somewhere and conjure up slanderous claims to dent another man's image for political advantage is the most stupid campaign the NDC can wage. It clearly shows you can campaign on your own record because you have none to be proud about. That's why my vote goes to Nana or Nduom, whoever puts forward the best policy proposals.

As a Ghanaian I am cognizant that the overwhelming majority of tribalists are of Akan heritage with Asantes predominant in this decided minority of Ghanaians!! U hate him,because u have inferiority mind. Let face reality ,let's called a spade a spade. Let stop following blindly for the sake of mother Ghana. Tribalism will not solve our problems till we realize we are one people and fighting for one goal. Be a good citizen and brothers keeper.No matter how there will be change for the coming election. Mahama will lose.
