Despite the Ten Commandments in the bible and the teachings of Christ people still sin and commit crimes. Most of the developed democracies were once like us. Religions, and political systems are are not the causes of our woes but bad and greedy behaviors. Let's attack these and stop pointing at the wrong fingers.

When are we ever going to take some responsibility for the crimes we commit against each other? Although Partisan politics is not a perfect system it works relatively well everywhere in the world except in Africa. Are we too different from all races of the world in very significant ways that you are advocating for a completely new system of governing for Ghanaians? No system of government, not even the direct Government of God will work for us if we continue to fester in corruption and dishonesty. Africans don't need any more stereotypes than what we already have. We are doing everything wrongly because we are just too corrupt to do anything right. Why can't we just learn from those countries that have succeeded in turning their fortunes around? New York used to have one of the most corrupt police systems in the world but they have turned it around to become a very efficient police department. What we lack is the right leadership not an indigenous political system. When Rawlings became the military dictator every Ghanaian knew the system was corrupt and they were ready to support Rawlings in his efforts to bring the country back on track. Rawlings failed because he became corrupted by the system and the people around him. Until we take the right steps to change the status quo we will forever wallow in poverty and under-development. I know exactly what we have to do by constitutional means to lift this nation out of our miserable state and I'm not the only one. It's not rocket science but it's the lack of willpower to do what's right and just for this nation. "In matters of fashion, swim with the current. In matters of principle, stand like a rock".(Thomas Jefferson). Remember the principles are the same. What's different is the people, the leadership.
