  Nice, but this feature could have been longer than that.
  It should have hit the other side a bit more, especially the issue of invasion privacy of his subjects(victims) as against the right to know.

  Kudos for this utterly subjective piece ostensibly to commend Anas and his team. Why not give as much prominence to the negatives of his methods as was given to the positive aspects? Brilliant lecture on research methodology.

  You ought to be ashamed Brako-Powers and Iris Akwetey for you demean the work by Anas by offering a phony anti-abortion group that peddle altered data, voice and video to assail institutions as a normalized standard for investigative journalism. The US based anti abortion group cannot be anymore of a legitimate investigative organization than the KKK as a civil rights group.
  
  Secondly please stop your silliness trying to look for some origins for whatever tactics Anas may have used; coincidences in approach are just that and no more. Give credit to original thoughts and stop your all or nothing approach to events in Ghana/Africa. The state of California is not trying to bury the hatchet job done by the anti abortion group; take time to read the results from the various state investigations and you will find no findings yet collaborating the crap put out by the group even if idiotic politicians hold them out to be doing good work when they distort facts and sell fiction.

  If, as you aver, his method ticks all the necessary boxes, why then does he need hide his identity behind a mask; especially when it becomes necessary to justify/defend allegations in a court of law? Surely, his continued use of masks does raise a fundamental ethical/legal issues over his practice and motives. How can you raise career-ending allegations against someone and then hide your face behind a mask when called to justify your allegations? Isn't that a moral/legal absurdity countenanced only in medieval times and not the twenty first century?

  There's one guy who faked his identity in the USA to video tape secretly a group in a bid to unveil what they do. He won't get killed for that: Anas could get killed in Ghana or those very reasons.
  
  Now, if crooked judges refuse to consider principles of moral domain underscored by exigencies of their institutions to the point of undermining the whole justice system in Ghana, why do you think others can't employ the same methods to expose them for who really they are?
  
  What is good for the goose is good for the gander. Those judges need to be shot.

  In the first place, it is utterly misleading to compare the work of Anas with a completely disinterested academic work where the methodology is almost as important as the results obtained. Go to any academic conference or read academic papers and much of the argument and criticism about on the methodology.
  
  Anas was not conducting a disinterested academic study. He had an agenda to catch wrongdoers, shame them and see to it that they are behind bars. He was an agent provocateur to doing evil. And he wasn't doing that to acquire knowledge.
  
  Secondly, you don't know ALL the methods that Anas used in his work so you can't come here to divide them into academic categories. The man used some purely crude methods WITHOUT WHICH HE WOULDN'T HAVE GOTTEN THE RESULTS HE WANTED. You just have to admit that, EVEN THOUGH WE ARE ALL HAPPY WITH THE RESULTS THAT HE GOT, some of the methods are just bellow par.
  
  Anas was playing private detective or underground investigator. The nature of that job is such that if you don't deceive and lie and dissemble, you won't get any results. All these are morally wrong activities but they are necessary for Anas to deliver.
  
  Let us be happy that Anas nailed these guys and let us hope that their punishment will serve as deterrent to others. But let us not close our eyes to some of the crude methods of Anas!
