Owners and editorial board at the Daily Guide could do better than to accept and imply that those nations who could not see a need to think for themselves but to ask colonial masters to do their thinking for them are better of than Ghana's leaders who tried but failed? Where does the claim of independent nations begin? Is it whIle we are still being spoon fed or when we learn from our mistakes? I submit to the dim-witts at media houses all over Ghana that it is more so their incompetence and failure to inform the voting public that has allowed governments to spend borrowed money on popular but unsustainable government initiatives. After all every government scheme is neither self funding and sustainable or cheap political gimmicks to win elections.
So before the editorial board wrote the irresponsible piece they could have asked themselves what is wrong with institutions in Ghana to be miserable failures while comparable institutions in developed nation pass muster?
