Are we gullible in Ghana or what? UK government and its representatives could show remorse by treating Ghanaians as human and not some undeserving annoyance. It should start with the British High Commission in Ghana where applicants for visa have to endure all the humiliation akin to those suffered by slaves. In the UK and other nations there is an orderly process to seek a visa. In Ghana applicants not only pay for a process that intends to humiliate them when they arrive at the consulate. Does your Excellency think waiting on the streets somewhere in Accra to get to the appointment time is dignified? Is that what Ghana High Commission in London dishes out to applicants in the UK?
It really saddens me that as Ghanaians we are willing to take any acts of disrespect on our own soil for the chance of going to paradise on earth because of mismanagement and sale of every asset by our incompetent governments.

I am surprised the Asantehene wud invite you to give that sanitized speech. You forgot to tell him that Prempeh was made to kiss the boots of some British Officer!
