  With all their big coats, luxurious cars and air conditioned offices, they cannot manage the economy. The institutions of state are in shambles. A proud for nothing and shameless administrators with useless siren motorcade disturbing our peace. Ghana's democracy is but the license to steal from the voiceless poor.

  This reminds me of an encounter years back at the Customs Headquaters in Accra where i had gone for renewal/undertaking of a vehicle i imported into the country. After "four consecutive days of go and come" i finally had the "privilege" to enter the office of the so-called officer in charge but this customs commissioner wouldn't process my documents; his reasons being that, i came into his office wearing shorts, t-shirt and sandals.
  
  Infact, having made unecessary comments, insulted and intimidated me in many ways, i gather some courage to ask if my dress-code had anything to do with the business i came to transact; hearing this, he got more furious and compared me to his own son living in Australia who came to Ghana, though decently dressed, was denied entrance into a certain institution in the country.
  
  This folly is almost everywhere in Ghana!

  Nothing is working in Ghana even under the nose of Parliament. I'm disappointed that such things happen.

  We are reading this was not a formal event.
  
  In that case, it looks like they are enforcing a dress policy for employees, on customers and visitors to the government facility.
