  "biometric technology used by the Electoral Commission has not been programmed to ferret out multiple registration of eligible voters when, in fact, the diametrically opposite situation is the case". When then do you claim there is multiple registration in the same register? Should the technology or program pull-out these so called names from jump???

  NDC government & the new EC should accede to NPP's demand of new Voters' Register for the 2016 general elections as a way of proactively countering any challenge they would make for not winning the elections.

  You tried but failed to rubbish common sense, Dr. Okoampa-Ahoofe; it's easy to be an NPP jackass than to be an enlightened writer. What the new head of the EC did was just a stroke of genius at work and not for buffoons to understand. Why would the EC fight with a swell of idiots led by pied pipers like LMVC, Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings, J. J. Rawlings, Nana Akufo-Addo, Council of Churches and others when she could rather ask for suggestions from waring factions knowing the self interest of each of those agitators will rise to the top to nullify the silly clamoring.
  
  Not even you, the big bad wolf Dr. Kwame Okoampa-Ahoofe, can come up with a voter registration process that would eliminate double registrations, remove non-citizens from voter rolls and or the dead from any registry. What do we have in place of yet for the instant verification of citizenship at every registration post throughout Ghana? What do we have to verify or ascertain registration status of each individual at any of the registration centers? Do we have a local and or district death registry? If not would the NPP not claim foul if they should lose the 2016 election only to find names of the dead on registration rolls they cannot substantiate dates of passing? We seem to have enough classroom educated empty heads leading the charge for a new voter registry from near and afar they are drowning voices of wisdom and sanity.
  
  Could law enforcement agencies in Ghana not be able to verify vehicle registration and or driving licenses on the spot of an incident/traffic stop if we had a reliable network of telecommunications infrastructure? Would registration centers not be able to do likewise when the validity and or suspicions of fraud became an issue? Parties calling for new voter rolls are naive, wasteful or plain dumb if they do not understand what the underpinnings of our presumed problems with voter registration is about.

  There are lot of technical and administrative challenges facing the Biometric Voting Equipment according to the 2012 General Elections Report.If NPP succeeds in getting a new voters register the NDC will as well call for a fresh one with the same excuse.This will lead to the suspension of the 2016 general elections.Who gains and who loses here?Therefore,we need to dialogue and take accounts of the opposing views.Thank you.
