She is also going into the political arena and we need to know if she could distinguish acts that constitute corruption from others. It seems to me that you read the article with closed minds.

I am fully from the Volta Region. Ezana/etor can also mean DARKNESS MUST RESPOND. Only Rawlings can give us the meaning of the name!!!!!!! No sycophant should deceive us by giving us the good side of the meaning.

Rawling's Ewe isn't good. I understand that the young lady was born when Rawlings was awaiting trial for his first failed coup attempt against the SMC2 regime of General Akuffo. Those were difficult(dark) days for him and he wanted the darkness (night - eza) to end and he named the girl Ezanetor (darkness must stop/end), rather than Ezana nator (the darkness must respond). If this theory is correct, then the girl's proper name should be Ezanetor.

But as you said, it is only Rawlings who can tell us why he chose that name. Or perhaps the girl herself was told why. If she can speak Ewe well, then she should know her name is NOT Ezenator which is the Ewe translation of "the pot should respond" - a totally meaningless concept in any language, unless it is the abracadabra of an Ewe juju man in which case the girl may have been an offering to some dark deity who was being called upon to respond!

This discussion has absolutely nothing to do with support or of Rawlings...

I think the young lady may have benefited from her father but there is no reason blaming her for her father's bad ways. We should rather try to judge her ON HER OWN MERITS in which case we should not endorse her because she is Rawlings' daughter or hate her because of the same. She didn't ask to be born by Rawlings and Konadu both of whom I, personally, don't care a hoot about...
