  The president was articulate as usual except that the substance of his arguments were flawed in most cases. For insntance,The president can not be blamed in entirety for the current erratic power supply; he however has poorly managed the situation with several unfulfilled promises to end the crisis. The president, in the 2012 presidential debate promised to end the energy crisis by the end of the first year of his first term (2013). This is some one who told the whole world his predecessor prof mills had entrusted the administration of the country in his care and therefore had no excuse of not being privy to the state of affairs of the energy situation, unlike his other competitors like Nana Addo, Dr Sakara and Hassan Ayariga.
  The president was also dishonest abt his commitment in fighting corruption. I have never doubted the presidents complicity in corruption and hence his weakness or unwillingness to fight corruption. Assibit of Gyeeda Scandal and Dan Ahmed Saaka of SADA loot have picked nomination forms to contest for parliamentary seats on the ticket of Ndc. Any President who is determined to fight corruption should have dissuaded these accused individuals to abandon their ambition to save the party from criticism as well as he himself.
  In a whole, The president at best danced around the issues.

  The Intercept, an online newspaper, just reported on leaked classified documents which shows how the drones are used to kill people. I was surprised to learn that Ghana has an agreement with the U.S. via Africom to allow drones to fly and refuel from Ghana. These bases are established in Ethiopia, Somalia, Djibouti, Camaroon,Burkina Faso, Chad, Uganda.
  The Transnational Corporations have always wanted the natural resources of Afrika without the Afrikan people. These companies have a history of using the U.S. military to obtain their objective. We are setting ourselves up for annihilation.
