I can’t agree more than to thank you for your honest and insightful analysis.

I predicted during later part of Kufuor’s government (2001-2008) that if Akufo-Addo ever succeeded John Kufuor to be president, there would be chaos and major crisis or called it tribal crisis in Ghana.

My assessment was based on his foolish utterances, behaviour, ‘power-hungry’, arrogance and most importantly, his naked ambition to be President. Akufo-Addo felt it is his legitimate and divine right to be President of Ghana because his father was once the President and needed to follow that path. What he, Akufo-Addo, failed to acknowledge was that his father was only appointed as a ceremonial head of state and not elected by Ghanaian electorate.
So far, what I have seen and read about the man is his divisive character and attitude. I want to predict again, and I will keep this on record, if Akufo-Addo wins the 2016 election, there will be a major crisis and perhaps, the end of the Fourth Republic as a result of military coup!
I spent my adulthood, education and professional working life away from home (Ghana), mostly in Europe. I believe we Ghanaians can compete with the best in the world given the correct political climate. Unfortunately, some of the political leaders we’re having are the major cause retarding our socio-economic progress.

By the time the general elections arrive in 2016, the alleged bloating will have topped 25 million. How did NDC managed to get the EC to add 2 million ghost names, all of which Akuffo Addo is insinuating are pro-NDC individuals? NDC paid everyone of the 2 million individuals money? Are we to believe that every staff member working at the EC belongs to NDC? Has any one at the EC, at least an NPP sympathizer, come out to state that he was part of this alleged bloating?

What this desperado needs to do is to stay in Ghana and convince the electorate that he is a better candidate than Mahama. He should desist from beating the war drum. You cannot mock God and his children/ people and get away with it. Finally, Akufo Addo is coming to terms with the realisation that he has lost the 2016 election before it has even begun. The background to all the problems in the party can be laid squarely at the feet of Nana when Sir John, the former General Secretary openly declared his unflinching support for him without taking into account how that would impact on the party. From government, Nana and his team has been able to unite a whole section of floating voters against him and his party into opposition. And being vindictive, arrogant, divisive and incompetent is not enough for Nana but believed he has nothing to lose by ignoring the Asantehe. Imagine Nana becoming President and decided to be on collision course with the Asante King? Hell not. The country will become ungovernable as Nana sets out to take revenge on his perceived enemies using the state apparatus at his disposal. This is the fear I and many have that even if I were led at gun point into the voting booth, I am prepared to take the bullet rather than voting for Nana Akufo Addo to become my President.

The chunk of almost 90 % vote on some beliefs whether the economy or the ecominy(said by late Prof Mills).They vote on tribalistic, chieftaincy, religiously, family root, fame, and regional bases.

So npp should look at how to package their messages to woo those people.
