  And, you Dr Okoampa-Ahoofe, must be truthful for once and inform readers of this piece who didn't know what happened in 1979. Nana Akufo-Addo the then Deputy General Secretary of UNC, the party led by his uncle, 'Paa Willie' Ofori-Atta provided the electable platform for Dr Hilla Limann's PNP. Of course, PNP was an Nkrumah-leaning party, instead of supporting the Busia-leaning party of Victor Owusu's PFP.
  
  So, the what Nana Akufo-Addo learnt from his uncle, 'Paa Willie' Ofori-Atta is pretty much the traits of his leadership of the NPP. So stop talking gibberish about Victor Owusu. Nana Akufo-Addo has apologising to do. No doubt.

It could be argued that UNC featuring a few notable ex CPP notables pulled some votes away from the PNP though less than from the PFP in the first round. Both prez and parliament were on a 50%+1 system. PNP won a parliamentary majority an indication that the UNC/PFP split was not reason for PNP winning the election! Dr Limann was an unknown political novice who led the PNP to victory suggests other factors!! MATEMEHOFU have a pronounced tendency to flee from factual reality, while seeking refuge in half truths, and fabricated myths!! The UNC/PFP dichotomy was not the reason for the PNP victory!! MATEMEHOFU should let William Ofori-Atta & Victor Owusu rest!!!
