Any suggestions for dealing with the issues? What you have written is hardly news. Everybody knows that Ghana is rotten because of the issues you identified. Now is the time for action. The sad part is that the youth, the backbone of future development, are either disillusioned or more corrupt than our elders and leaders. So who will lead the charge for change?

Esi, when you're raised by thieves, you grow up to do, act, live, behave and think like a thief. The youth are only following what our leaders are teaching them. Can't blame them much when all they see is corruption, theft and kalabule in every corner of our state institutions and homes. God/Allah have mercy on us. Ghana needs help real bad and all our leaders do is connive with the devil to pollute some more and entrenching evil and sin in our midst. Personal worth and money is all they speak and dream about. Time we start beating up on our leaders if we want change.

Of all the observations by "foreigners" the most accurate was that of the Ghanaian physician. Solutions- start with one "prophet" to challenge people to look beyond themselves, look beyond today and dream of a better Ghana for all. And the prophet need not be the president but somebody who commands respect and the moral authority to preach change. I nominated Dr. P.K. Nduom as the person who can start us on our march to a new Ghana. Lets listen to what he has to say and encourage others to do the same. A climate in the country that encourage a large influx of Ghanaians abroad to return home will also help to speed the process of change. And the greatest impact will be a change in leadership. We must elect people who want to SERVE the people rather leaders who want the people to serve them. Listen to Dr. Ndoum.

As our criminals deceive their own souls and conscience thinking that GOD is to be mocked and they justifies their own evil deeds steal public money and goes to church and give tithe on the stolen money and hate his subjects and practice nepotism and give all contracts to his brother and abandon contractors in his own party.A man who knew for sure that he has bloated the voter register to favour him don't want to do the right.Ghana has big rivers empty into the ocean to increase its volume and our so call intelligent wise president shock the world of using billion of dollars digging boleholes and not built water treatment plant even an imbecile or retarded person will not do what the president did and while human being whose tax cannot give water to drink has to settle on muddy water what crime has that community done to deserve such evil treatment and the president will go and sit in church claim to worship GOD.Maybe he does not understand thou shall not steal and love you neighbour as yourself.

We must be careful God does not become angry with us. The Revolution rather brought in a very corrupt party. Think of NDC coming from a revolutionary background. We all have to repent and agree to build stronger institutions. It calls for very strong political will. Attorney General must not be a political position. But all the political parties benefit from it. Our problem is we know what to do but we are not prepared to do it. We are seriously divided and names have taken the place of competence. Only God can help us and Christians must be serious else God will come in to do the change Himself. It could be serious because we are hypocrites...
