  Aside the humor in your first paragraph it must be pumped in your big head that Akan names were not borrowed by the Gas so when you hear a Ga with an Akan name it is because he has an Akan ancestry and for that matter ab original name.
  
  The Ga policy of assimilation had meant that once you are accepted as a Ga no matter your origin you are a full Ga.Perhaps you want to know how the Akans became Gas,the simple answer is that some were captured in war to serve the Gas and others defected to join the Gas because of their hospitality.
  
  The word convention is an English word and therefore unlike a "party" which is not exclusive,political slogans are exclusive which is what the npp has stolen and that is why they have been warned for breach of copyright patented for the mean time for use by the cpp.

  Ahoofe,the deranged and benighted Community College tutor has nothing of value to do. After "teaching" convicts from New York State Prison,he goes straight to his kitchen,in the roach infested ghetto apartment in the Bronx - which serves as the "Main Office" for his "Sintim Public Policy Institute" (named after his father and set up after he was kicked out of Gabby's Danquah Institute).
  
  From there,this nutty tutor checks Ghanaweb and Modernghana,and writes his daily garbage - with the aid of an old dictionary and a thesaurus. This quiets the devil controlling his mind.
  
  Big brother Ahoofe's greatest achievement in life is his doctorate in African American Studies from Temple University.
  
  For years,he lavished praises on Osagyefo Dr. Nkrumah,who obtained two master's degrees from Penn(an Ivy League School)and also enrolled at London School of Economics and University College,London while engaged in Pan-African activities - before the conservative,elitist and weak leaders of the UGCC brought him back to the Gold Coast. And the rest is history !
  
  When the conservative,violent and ethnocentric Mate Meho party,the NPP won in 2000,Ahoofe reshuffled his thoughts and became anti-Nkrumah - hoping to secure a position within the Kufuor administration. But he was shut out, and not even Gabby could help him.
  
  He's now reduced to his miserable self at the Community College,and in the Bronx ghetto. Next time this mentally challenged tutor writes anti-Nkrumah diatribe,let him remember that it was Nkrumah who gave his father(a CPP member) a job that allowed his family to be fed,clothed and educated(Ahoofe's brother was a Young Pioneer).

  NPP Nota Bene:
  Words matter, language matters, framing and definition matter!!! Positioning matters. NPP needs to overhaul its positioning, needs to reframe the issues and build coalitions with groups, organizations and people who generally do not agree with it on most issues!! Most importantly it needs to overhaul its image period! Fairly or unfairly it is perceived by a majority of the voting public at best as a stronghold of ethnic bigots, it has helped to paint itself into this untenable position!! It must denounce and disavow its ethnic bigot supporters, its an imperative and politically speaking these Neanderthals are not going to abandon the NPP!! The NPP must abandon the myth of being the natural majority party it is not!! The election and re-election of JAK does not vindicate this myth!! All political parties have foundational and operational myths, but generally those myths have some basis in reality however tenous, however most of the myths propounded by the NPP are very remote from reality!! It might serve to bind the base to the party; but in a situation where it is obvious to the majority of Ghanaians that the NPP propagates myths that are questionable at best and frankly delusional at worst, it will not be able to gain a majority in the presidential vote!! Currently its saving grace is the anti- democratic first past the post system for parliament! Absent that their parliamentary delegation would shrink! Finally the NPP projects an arrogant and dismissive attitude, please ask yourselves in ordinary life people who project such an attitude have few friends, politics is a people business!
  I am a realist, as much as I disagree with the NPP I recognize that the Ghana needs a credible alternative to the NDC!! Currently even with a voters register validated by heaven, the NPP in its current posture will find it very difficult if not impossible to win the presidency!! It makes no sense to stake it success on the dubious proposition of " a stolen verdict" and neglect organization and making it self more palatable to the biggest chunk of the electorate those who vote on the basis of the "lesser of two evils"!!
