  If Mahama hadn't stolen the nomination from his own party, I don't think NDC would have nominated and endorsed someone accused of inflating the price of airplanes by millions of dollars corruptly as their presidential candidate. After the undemocratic nomination and fictitious endorsement, he then slept in bed with the EC and Atugbah to steal the verdict of Ghanaians.
  
  Mahama is not only leading the most corrupt government in the history of Ghana, he himself is very corrupt and rotten to the core. Ghanaians will surly get rid of him in the 2016 elections even if he is still in bed with the EC. The corrupt judges have now been exposed and Ghanaians to are fed up with his corrupt and under performing government. Moreover, he is soiling the good name of northerners.

Mr. Doudu, it is very clear from all his so-called legal arguments that he thinks has found an opportunity to vilify and discredit d NDC gov't in his fight againt them for dismissing him. He is so bitter that he is using Anas( and any loopholds that may exist in Anas' setup) to achieve his aim. Martin Amidu is so blinded by his bitterness that he would not mind throwing d spanner in Anas's work to get at d NDC gov' t. Don't u think he needs some psychological help?

  What I am concerned with is that Amidu has not proven that Anas is a criminal. Unless he is able to prove that in concrete terms, then we should dismiss what he is saying in that regard.
  
  We should select what is worth investigating further in Amidu's allegations and dismiss what is not worth investigating. We cannot bundle together everything he says and attribute it to some psychological motive of his.

We are worried about the dishonesty of people whose work give them the right to condemn innocent people to live imprisonment or death sentence. This rot in the judiciary did not start in the last three or four years. The rot was there when Amidu was in the Rawlings and Mills government. He was quiet about it then. This lack of action when Amidu was in the Rawlings and Mills governments is my problem with Amidu. Some of us feel he is very dishonest. He is making a lot of noise now to protect his colleague lawyers and judges. He does not care about the poor Ghanaians who have no money to buy justice. It is a shame on Amidu. He should stop talking about honest northerner stuff because he is not one of the honest northerners. He cares about corrupt judges who are his friends and extended family and not the suffering people who have been abused legally by these corrupt judges. An honest person should be seen to be honest even if his family or friends are on the receiving end. But this is not the case with Amidu. Amidu, you are very dishonest and the ordinary Ghanaians who have suffered under these corrupt judges will never forgive you for fighting for them. Shame on you.

  If your faculties are right, the writer mentioned that Martin Amidu was fired by John Atta Mills over the Wayome judgment debt issue. Amidu went to the Supreme Court with his own money over the Wayome case and won. Tell me, which Ghanaian in this day and age will risk his job with all the entitlements, to fight for what is right? Amidu was fired because he spoke out against fraud in government and he continues to do so.
  
  It is one thing to know how to read, it is another to understand what you read. Why don't you go back and read this masterpiece again? I have read it twice, and I am sure I will read it again - it is so refreshing considering a lot of garbage people put out here on Ghanaweb.

  It is the dishonesty of Amidu in trying to protect corrupt judges that is a problem to some of us. And it is typical of corrupt and dishonest Ghanaians in high positions to always protect their corrupt family members and work colleagues. Why ignore the role of corrupt judges? Did judges become corrupt only in the last four years? So all these years that Amidu served in the Rawlings and Mills governments did he not know about corrtption in the judiciary? If he knew what did he do about it? If he did not kow then he should not try to protect them. It is dishonesty on the part of Amidu to be selective in the fight against corruption that worries some of us. If it is to deal with his opponents or persons he regards as enemies it is fine. But if it is to deal with his corrupt friends and colleagues in the judiciary then it is not ok. Is this typical of Ghanaians in high positions. It is very typical of most dishonest people to portray themselves to the unsuspecting publc as angels but in secret and clandestine ways promote the narrow interests of their families and friends. My question is this: why is Amidu trying to protect the corrupt judges caught on tape taking goats and cedi notes to free criminals who have abused and murdered fellow Ghanaians? Is that not corruption?

  As I have said many times, there is an acute intellectual deficit in our country and it takes great minds like yours to see through Amidu's postulations. It is so sad the average Ghanaian and moreso the intellectuals are not endowed with cognition to understand the ramifications of the illegal undercover activities of Anas' Tiger Eye PI in collaboration with the diabolical NDC government.
  
  Our Constitution is seriously being threatened by these criminals in government, the NDC government, and instead of our people recognizing the danger this government poses by using Anas as an agent for its dirty work, they are hurling vituperation on the lone ranger, Martin Amidu, who is able to see through the legal ramifications of Anas' unholy collaboration with corrupt Mahama NDC government. The fickle mind Ghanaian perhaps is unaware that this same act of espionage by the President of the US in the 70s got Richard Nixon impeached and disgraced, and also cost him the Presidency.

  Mr. Duodu has every right to shift grounds like any Ghanaian who is endowed with the cognition to understand the ramifications of Anas' unholy alliance with the corrupt NDC government. His grasp of the issues at stake is par excellence and I commend him.
  
  No one condones any act of corruption be it on the account of the Judiciary, Legislature or the Executive. But at the same time, we are not going to break our laws to clean up the canker. It is my hope that intelligent people in the country would recognize the steady erosion of law, order, and good government in our fledgling democracy and speak out in support of Martin Amidu.

Our worry is that the poor Ghanaian who cannot buy justice is always at the receiving end of judicial corrtption.

We the ordinary people of Ghana with no money to buy justice can see through this conspiracy theory by dishonest and self-centred Amidu and his cabal of criminal lawyers and judges. You can fool some of the people but you cannot fool all of us. At the root of Amidu's supposed intellectual powess is his dishonest character and strong selfish desire to protect his corrupt friends in the judiciary. His stand betrays him as very selective in his campaign against corruption. And to confuse us, his criminal gang of corrupt lawyers and judges are coming out with bull shit conspiracy theories. These conspiracy theories will not wash. Even though we are not rich to be able to buy justice do not take us for fools. We can read between the lines and we know that Amidu is trying hard to protect his criminal and corrupt judges. The whole world have seen how the criminals in the judiciary sold justice in exchange for goats and fowls. Good luck. We are watching.

  If only our Judiciary had maintained a strong moral nerve to even take the Executive on to effectively expose the corruption within the Executive and elsewhere, we would not be where we are now to even feel threatened by any stealth attempt by the Executive to control both the Parliament and the Judiciary.
  
  If our Judiciary was a much stronger Institution than even before Anas exposed the rot within it, we would have long curbed the corruption which has ended up consuming it as well.
  
  The GYEEDA, SADA, and Woyomegate, etc., all were possible because the culprits in all of them had rightly sensed they could get away with their crimes. They knew that so long as the Executive was behind them, however remotely, they could easily surmount any Judicial attempt to crash them in Jail. Had our Judiciary exhibited the tough, no-nonsense, uncompromising posture as the Constitution imbued it with, the minions of the Executive who perpetrated SADA, GYEEDA, etc., crimes would not have had the nerves to even think about doing so.
  
  The Judges had already proven vulnerable by their succumbing to corruption, thereby weakening the Judiciary. And the criminal Officials knew it and turned that into their advantage.
  
  As far as the Public is concerned, the Judiciary ought to have been our last bastion of protection against Executive and even Legislative corruption and high-handedness. This is why most of us do not care as much about the technicalities that Amidu had been alluding to regarding Anas work as the shocking rot in the Judiciary per se.
  
  I think Amidu could have been more focused as Cameron Duodu suggested by taking that aspect of Anas' work on a different sphere. Amidu could have confronted Anas on that particular concern of his to help forestall any progress in the attempt by the Executive to control both the Legislature and the Judiciary as the eminent icon of Journalism, Mr. Duodu, is pointing out as a dangerous possibility.
  
  For all we care, we have seen and endured Executive tyranny before. We know its streaks and spots. We know how to deal with it. What we have not been very familiar with is total hollowed-out Judiciary which we cannot depend on to help confront a rampaging Executive.
  
  So, I would suggest to Amidu to help Anas expose all the rot in our System but first allow us to recover our trust in the Judiciary which we would need to trim the powers of the Executive to size. As it is now, if by the mere technicalities all these Judges are let go freely, nothing could ever restore the Public faith in our System again under a Democratic environment. And only God would know what could then happen to the Country. What most of us know, however, is that the Country would, in the interim, dive even deeper than ever into corruption.
