  The National Peace Council together with the Council of State have earned the right to be amalgamated into a single body and re-named the National See Nothing Hear Nothing Council of Retirees. If they are of the opinion that Ghana is a safe haven and a safe bet for the promotion of democracy on the continent of Africa then they deserve to be screened for signs of Alzheimer's disease or proscribed as adult delinquents.
  The truth we dread to hear and so choose to bury our heads in the sand is Ghana is a dormant volcano that has for the last 40 years been springing to full activity. We only need to keep pushing the right buttons and the dormant volcano's activation process would be fast-tracked to its fullest potential.
  The governing NDC Administration which believes and practices absolutism has been foremost in the business of pushing the right buttons for as long as it became a player on the political landscape and have gotten away with murder and numerous crimes against the state and its citizens. They still think it's brawn rather than brains and political goodwill that build political dynasties. What needs to be done with these redundant and senile senior citizens is for the citizens, their employers, to write them a job description and hand them their freebies only on the conditions of absolute political neutrality and the rate of success in preventing and resolving conflicts.
