  To be a Christian or a believer is to have faith; it's not about going to church each day of the week, visiting with some holy person or holding oneself as a social pariah; Muslims also believe in their dead and gone leader they never met and yet believe in. Like the wind we do not see but know of its presence and power to soothe us when hot or be destructive at its worst so is a Christian God who we may not see but must know and believe in because of his handy work all around.
  
  The problem about Christianity is man's attempts at making it into what it is not; added value by the mortal man. If the Christian Bible talk about riches and rewards of the righteous it is not in reference to seeking riches by fair or foul means neither is it about property seeking at the perish of others in society. If the best example in a Christian is Jesus then why did Jesus not ride a well fed donkey/ass, best garments of his time and all the riches of his time yet we see Christian leaders of today live off the collection plate like gangsters even as their congregation struggle to survive? A Christian is a Christian because of conduct through life and not because they take pilgrimage to visit with a Pope or attend a revival.

  Well said Abeeku. The false practices by the so called christians is whats driving many away from the faith. Instead of worshipping God, they'll rather seek the blessing from self appointed prophets and pastors.

  God does not exists hence the bible after telling you about this Abrahamic God being real, instead of pointing you to where he is, it will tell you to now learn the art of suppressing the reasoning of the brain so that you do not use common sense and reasoning which are a product of evolution that has enabled the human species brain to make them have the intelligence they have today and ensuring their survival. Since the inventors of the Abrahamic religions knew the brain better than you and that in its fight for your survival it will show you how delusional the idea of God, they taught you that you need to keep that brain under control and not listen to it but live by faith which is really nothing. Even the wind is better because we can hear its sound and feel it in our skins, that is whole of two senses for proof of wind but non for God to this day.
