  Your write-up was very curious, except that it contained a subtle attempt to give the new IGP a bad name and hang him. About positions and ranks, it would be better to move all those COPs you referred to out of the Headquarters to other institutions until they retire, in this way paving the way for the IGP to have the right ranking system. This had been the practice in the past, places such as National Security, Immigration, National Development Planning Commission used to be the dumping grounds for COPs who could no longer operate effectively at the Hqrs. Mr Dampare cannot remain at the Hqtrs forever as Paymaster General. He has been in this position since 2009 and outlived three IGPs. The late Ando Kouffie was moved from that position to become the Regional Commander of Eastern Region, so it is not strange.

  Please.leave the igp alone.he knows exactly what he is doing.if u ask the rank and file apart from the affected officers the changes are not only timely but splendid.ask danpare how he quickly rose to become a commissioner whils sitting on the promotion of others.they should stop using the press to advance their inordinate cause.ninson was suppose to be a commissioner long be4 danpare and for unexplained reasons remains a dcop.madam rose was promoted long aheard of her senior colleagues ie andoh kofie.when the tables have turned they should gracefully acxept it and learn be humble when they rise again.
