Ex President Kuffuor will forever be remembered. We remember health insurance scheme, free maternal package, school feeding programme, free metro mass for pupils and students in uniforms etc. But where are these interventions ? This tribal induced fuss seeking to promote the most corrupt President in history, JA Kufuor, is getting out of hand.
For those who do not understand the term - good governance - Mo Ibrahim, the Sudanese business tycoon in his altruistic attempt to improve good governance on the continent, has a set of criteria designed for present and past leaders who have exhibited exemplary leadership to improve their countries and their peoples. The criteria is known as 'The Ibrahim Index of African Governance (IIAG). The index includes 100 variables, which touches on every human condition in governance one can think of.
African leaders who have provided exemplary leadership to their countries are rewarded with $5 million in the initial payment, followed by $200,000 annual payments for the rest of their lives. The award comes from Mo Ibrahim Foundation. An independent Price Committee chaired by Salim Ahmed Salim who took over from our own Kofi Annan in 2011. Incidentally, our own Kofi Annan was the chairperson in 2009 and 2010 when JA Kufuor's name came up. Wouldn't it have been such an honour for Mr. Annan to nominate and celebrate JA Kufuor's achievement? JA Kufuor is a fraud and every sane Ghanaian should know and understand it. JA Kufuor's rejection by Mo Ibrahim Independent Price Committee is so monumental, and our own Kofi Annan who was the chair at the time knows why.

2008 - Festus Mogae of Botswana
2009 & 2010 - No winner
2011 - Pedro Pires, former president of Cape Verde.

Mo Ibrahim Foundation usually reviews the performance of leaders a year after they have left office. JA Kufuor's Ghana was reviewed in 2009, and guess what; Kufour's Ghana was nowhere to be found in any of the 100 variables that are used as criteria of the Foundation. Maritius, Cape Verde and Seychelles were ranked first, second, and third. And in 2010 the year following Kufuor's Ghana, again Maritius, Seychelles and Botswana were ranked first, second and third for Africa's good governance.
So the question is: what is Kwame Opoku Agyemang ranting about? And is he the only "stranger in Jerusalem" who does not know that JA Kufuor is a Grand Thief and corrupt to the core?
