  "It is at this point that matters get a bit murky." What is so complex/murky about this case? Given that Mr Kofi Adu, the suspect and police hunt victim was initially rushed to the Agogo Presbyterian Hospital, and he's believed to have been transferred to St Joseph's Hospital in Koforidua, then the Agogo Hospital surgeons/Staff might have assessed the severity of Kofi Adu's injury. At this stage, the Agogo Presbyterian Hospital should know whether the suspect sustained gunshot wounds or sustained bone fracture wounds in his attempt to give the police the slip. This shouldn't be arguments about the Police and suspect's family accounts/version of events.
  
  St Joseph's Hospital in Koforidua has a Department best known for treating bone fractures and general orthopaedic surgery. This may explain why the suspect was sent there, and not just any other Hospital of close proximity. The suspect is in the care of the Hospital[s]. Therefore, it is the surgeons who upon examination can accurately and responsibly determine the type of injury the suspect sustained.
  
  Commander Asamoah-Agyekum would only have some explaining to do if the surgeons confirm the suspect sustained gunshot wounds.
