Whoever believes and holds the view that our EC and it's new chairwoman should not learn and profit from the recent Nigeria's universally acclaimed electoral process, in terms of it's fairness transparency and credibility,to me, is very myopic in ideas. Since becoming the EC chairwoman Charlotte Ossei has made it known that she has visited Kenya and South Africa to acquaint herself with some aspects of their electoral processes and procedures ostensibly to improved our system. What is therefore wrong or unacceptable to her and others for her to apply herself to learn certain positive and key procedures and strategies adopted and put in place by the Nigeria's EC under the leadership of Prof Jega and which contributed immensely to the success and acceptance of their recent elections? Even Nobel laureates are open to workable new ideas

I think much more emphasis should place on the need to embrace our own system and not to adhere to whatever The Nigeria Electoral commissioner will say..Nigeria postponed their election..and ask yourself why?..if their electoral sysem is better than Ghana.their election was done in some part of their region but others are not..ask yourself why?.SO, for Nigeria electoral commissioner asking we Ghanaians to look up to them,it is purely insult.Nigerians historically always trying to compete with Ghanaians from the soccer and now to democracy..BY MARGIN OF POPULATION AND RESOURCES,,Nigeria are far outweight Ghanaians but we do better than them by all measures..i think those people in Ghana who downsize our electoral system and collabulated with this Nigerian commissioner should better look beyond how Ghana has come out of military dictatorship to clean democracy. They must know, hardballs do not play part in politics in Ghana so they better beware..
