The wish to ask for further investigations, force those involved to repay the amount involved, agitate that they should be jailed, remove the photos of Mahama on the bus! This is because Ghanaians have known the NDC and it's antecedents since June 4th, 1979.
What this rented Bokor is failing to see is that, in Ghana some people, especially the women, do vote for people who have appealing outward expressions. They do not factor in competence, else this corrupt and useless criminal would not be our president.This the ndc knows, so by artificially making Mahama's picture colored and beatiful, the ndc are telling those useless Ghanaians out there who vote without using their heads to consider his physical outlook and vote accordingly. What's more, they often lack the needed reflective thinking skills that would allow them to interrogate issues objectively. I have a few eye-popping explanations to guide you on what happens when it comes to writing for forums such as Ghanaweb.

Yes, I have been writing opinion pieces for many years now, presenting as such and not seeking to be "academic" thereby, clearly because I know the difference between academic writing and non-academic writing for such forums. If for nothing at all, my training as a journalist (thanks to the Ghana Institute of Journalism, from 1982 to 1984) and practice as a journalist at the Ghana News Agency in the 1980s) has made me know what it takes to write feature articles (opinion pieces) that can be read and understood by audiences not really fixated on bombastic academic nonsense of the sort prompting your drivel.

And take it from me that the difference between academic writing and non-academic writing is clear.

Writing opinion pieces for online media or any news medium is purely non-academic writing meant for transactional communication (You can find out what it means) while academic writing is rigid and meant for scholars belonging to a speech or discourse community with common interests in topics and writing style.

For your information, I don't set out to do academic writing by way of theses/dissertations, treatises, or any other form of rigid and quaint academic genre for the audience visiting Ghanaweb. That is why I restrict myself to everyday language use and style, let alone the topics on which I write.

Characters like you who pontificate "academic writing" style for the online media are lost.

Why have you stopped writing your kind of drivel that nobody needs as far as Ghana's challenges of development are concerned, Kwabena Akurang Parry, alias Akadu Mensema? You have lost the bid; haven't you?

I don't believe in that and, as a rule, I don't insult people. There are so many here insulting Ewes that you cannot answer them all. Once in a while, you make a choice. The others you just don't mind.

Having said that, the fact that Bokor is a fellow Ewe doesn't mean I should like everything he writes. But whatever he writes must be criticized on its own merit - not by any reference to his tribe. And that's what I was pointing out to Maame Jane.

In the same manner, what comes out of Okoampa's mouth must be criticized on its own merit, not by reference to his tribe. The same goes for Adofo too.

And you, Andy, can and must, be critical of me too if you think I deserve it. You shouldn't let be because I say I am also Ewe. There should be a way some of us should show better sense than those who think they can insult others just because of the tribe they come from. You faded, only to return this time with your real name, Kwabena Akurang-Parry, and to behave as if you know it all.

Take it from me that everyone of us has his own field, where he is recognized. Writing for Ghanaweb isn't the in-thing as far as academic writing is concerned.

Again, by style, every writer seeks to engage the audience that he/she defines for the text and to reach out to them.

Those who visit Ghanaweb to read opinion pieces constitute a "motley audience" that a sensible writer will attempt connecting with by using language that they can easily grasp and move on without looking for any Oxford Advanced Learners' Dictionary or the Webster's version. Mine is a conversational approach that you don't have.

For some of you, it is a different approach, which is why you use archaic words and convoluted expressions that mean nothing when unpacked in context. To you, that style is "academic". Unfortunately, it is not suitable for online writing. Feature writing isn't the same as what you mistake academic writing for. You need to educate yourself before you pass judgement on others' writing style.

No amount of personal attack will deter me from writing to air my views on national issues. I know where they are coming from and won't bat my eyelid at all. Why have we NPP supporters accepted insult as our only response to others opinion. If you have read this article with open - mind, you would have realised that Dr Bokor is against wasteful spending of public funds for such excercise. He is suggesting for proper investigation and punishment for the Minister if she abused her position for authorising that project.

My brothers and sisters in the NPP, let us stop the insults because it is making the party unattractive.

Today when someone speak or write constructive criticism about NPP, we insult the person. Why?

We insult Dr Arthur Kennedy for calling Nana Addo to unite the party or when he criticise the party, but we same people praise the Honourable Martin Amidu who is also fighting corruption within the NDC government.

We should stop the hypocrisy. When Nana Ohene Ntow brought out his minority report on corruption going on in the NPP, we insulted him for tarnishing the image of the party.

Let us stop the insult and address issues whether in the NPP or NDC.
