Well said Solomon. You see you are speaking to a dead goat that can't hear, read or listen. So long as this dead goat and other members of the NDC looting brigade, who are also dead sheep continue to benefit from such contracts and deals, they will never care about Ghanaians. The only solution is to bury them to prevent further rot, stinking and contamination that continue to destroy Ghana. By the way why are the army and police officers still colluding with and/or supporting this gang of thieves who are bent on total destruction of the country? Do we have only women soldiers in Ghana? God, have mercy on poor Ghanaians.

The Energy Minister/Petroleum Minister must show, in clear Business Case Analysis, why they are representing the so-called Ghana Hybrid System as superior to the World Standard Production Sharing Agreement.
They can't do it!
But, we can show that Ghana has lost over $6 billion the last 5 years because of the hybrid system.

We require more public debate on this. The issue seems technical and both sides must be made to explain their positions to Ghanaians. The President should not be in a hurry to sign such a bill.
But if the bill is currently in parliament, then pressure must be brought on the MPs to thoroughly debate the issue to see what is best for Ghana. Many of them may not understand the intricacies and can easily be led astray. That is why both sides of the issue must present their case and PUBLIC DEBATE be carried out as the writer suggests.
Oh, my goodness, let this not be yet an opportunity we squander because a few individuals see a means of enriching themselves!!!

Solomon and many other people have been talking about this going on 5 years. In that sense, a $6 billion opportunity has already been lost.

QUESTION:
1. How many barrels of oil did the oil company lift?
2. How many barrels did Ghana get, compared to the oil company?
3. For the barrels of oil that went to Ghana, how much did Ghana get, compared to the oil company?
4. What percentage of income did Ghana receive out of for the 100% of all the oil that was lifted?
Those questions have been addressed in multiple venues, places, portals, articles, letters to Mr. Mahama, Ministers, etc.
It is the government that has not provided answers to those questions.
So, directly ask Mr. Mahama and his government "what a go-on?". (It should not be such a technical debate, the way it stands).
