  I am a Ghanaian who left the shores of Ghana nearly 20 years ago. I have witnessed events then and now and the truth be told the current state of affairs in Ghana is absolutely horrible. There are those always quick to insult others just for expressing their opinions in a democratic forum such as this. Be wise, intelligent, thoughtful, and considerate. Let us call things as they are. There is too much corruption and mismanagement in the system and the truth is that nothing is being done about it. No one says the opposition is better either but in the face of a do-nothing administration to reign in the cancer of unbridled looting of state coffers, we need a change. The current cronyism and other vices by the current President and his cohorts cannot be sustained. It does not matter what party you belong. If we can all reject and work together to vote out bad officials, Ghana will have a better opportunity to move forward.

  WHAT THE HECK IS THIS SPRAYING AND BRANDING OF METRO BUSES ABOUT? The NDC(Notorious Demented Criminals) 2016 campaign propaganda team diabolically cooked up this idea of using 116 public buses as cheap mobile billboards for Mahama's pictures. What is the significance of this branding? Who is being "BRADED" here? It is nobody but Mahama!! If you look at where his picture is placed on the buses you will understand what I am talking about. These morons have no shame and they are taking us - Ghanaians, for a ride. They stealing and using our tax cedis to fund their campaign with impunity. The spaces could be rented to some commercial entities to earn revenue for the Metro Bus Administration. This is what is done in other countries. All the pictures should be removed immediately from the buses before the government is forced to do so in court.

  Well thought out and written article. What I want to emphasise is that every country deserves that government it gets. By our collective actions and thoughts we create the environment for a particular type of government we deserve. It is all about karma, as you sow so shall you reap. There is so much negative action and thought in Ghana that what we will get as a government will be in the same mould - negative, incompetent, corrupt and so on. Rockson, I salute you for a change of tone of your articles - you are now throwing positive ideas devoid of insults etc as used to be that case. The more we as Ghanaians start behaving and thinking positively the better for us. Too many people are looking at the negative sides of things and issues. In fact some people even pray and wish that dumsor should not be solved so that the government continues to be bashed. Likewise some people want the troubles in the NPP to continue and even escalate so that the party becomes unelectable. Negative attracts negative and so we remain in the vicious cycle
