  A well written piece. The US treasury dept. just now raised interest rates minimally after almost 9 years of near-zero rate. The US congress also lowered taxes. The collapsed housing market got massive help from the govt. These measures spurred US's current economic growth. What has this NDC band of PhD thieves done in the last 7 years? Taxes (e.g. road tolls, petroleum products, etc.) have quadrupled; Interest rates, (above 28%) keep rising. Wages for the masses are rather stagnant, ALL Social intervention programs have been financially gutted. Bogus Judgement debts however get paid, just as non-budgeted overpriced sole-sourced contracts keep popping up here and there. It appears this MAHAMA's NDC govt's aim is to strangle the average Ghanaian, while the party gurus, their families and girlfriends LOOT well beyond their needs. What a nation!! I feel sad for Ghana, and especially her youths.

Kufuor price per gallon was 7 cedis at the time world price was $147 per gallon. BUT NDC STILL ERUPTED UNDER KUFUOR. NDC can still put the price at 30 cedis per gallon but nothing will happen. NDC can be wasteful and spend corruptly. Ghana will not erupt. NDC are free to do their ugly gymnastics because of the inertia amongst Fantes, Ewes, Gas, Brongs, Notherners . There will be no mass action against the NDC despotic and foolish rule. NDC thrives on tribalism. NDC has taken advantage to act reckless and arbitrary. Now, The minor tribes have seen that their pet NDC have failed miserably. But they are resisting the change to NPP -which to them will mean Asantes will get advantage. Its all ethnocentric tendencies. They are unwilling. Simply put, they don't like Asantes so Ghana should suffer under NDC misrule" Ghana rest in piece. Ghana baba nao!
