When America couldnt find friends or allies to willing take these gitmo ex cons they turned to their brothers who because of corruption have a compromised leadership so can be arm twisted to accept the unthinkable. Radical extremist probloms require radical swift solutions , we should bribe our corrupt security agencies to kill these idiots who agreed to come here and be the nucleus of future destabilization . The embassy honestly admits they can not vouch for these criminals which confirms even after 14 years incarceration they are not rehabilitated

  This artificial method of obtaining questions in advance, mainly from sycophantic journalists the majority of whom are from the "rented press" (AMIDU!) does nothing for the President. He just TALKS AT the people without connecting with them.
  It is even more foolish not to allow subsidiary questions. For how can they know what the President will say before he says it? They hear him; his answers raise new questions and they put these to him. That is how a real press conference happens. Preparing an ORDER WITH A PRE-OBTAINED LIST also means that other journalists cannot follow up the questions of their colleagues. Yet one journalist may frame a question badly, which another can refine, and bring out the needed information.
  
  Mahama is running a fraudulent government and it shows at every level. Sprinkling "COMMUNICATION" on it from a theoretical perspective will only make things worse. If you are in America, watch the White House and State Department news conferences are like. They are by REAL JOURNALISTS with REAL SPOKESPERSONS AUTHORISED TO GIVE INFORMATION, and true news comes out of them. Not declarations by the administration, which could just as easily be circulated as press release. The real essence of a press conference is questions, supplementary questions, and supplementary questions on supplementary questions -- almost a debate. If you are not up to it, you don't do something else and call it a "press conference."

  How do you suppose a corrupt and incompetent Mahama should expose his inept administration by availing himself to the press on a weekly basis? Just think about it. A government that is involved in so many shady dealings and profligate would undoubtedly put a distance between itself and the press and that is exactly what Mahama and his NDC thieves are doing.
  
  Yes, the US Presidency gives weekly radio broadcast as a tradition and provides intermittent meet the press at the oval office. They do this because they are transparent, and even then if you have noticed, in time of government scandals such as Monica Lewinsky affair, Clinton or his press secretary barely gave press conferences. A corrupt and duplicitous character such as Mahama will keep a complete distance between himself and the press because facing the press is bad business. I do not remember the time another crook, JA Kufuor faced the press in all of his eight years in office. (I stand to be corrected)
  
  The fact of the matter is, thieves and corrupt Presidents do not meet the press - it is suicidal and they know it. How do you expect Mahama to face the press and take questions regarding the AMERI Group scandal, the Salassie Ibrahim metro bus rebranding scandal, the bloated voters' list, etc., etc. Do you think these criminals in power do not know what is good for the nation and democracy?
