Every discourse in the country is so badly politicised that there is no common ground for progress. The language used in these circumstances so vile.

It is high time people rise to speak for Ama Ghana devoid of political, religious or ethnic standing. It's high time we prioritise our nation above our perochial interests in life. I weep for the future of mother Ghana anytime I realise that the people who are supposed to know better call white black for selfish reasons. The time to speak for Ghana is now. Thank you soo much for this piece.

The case in Ghana is actually founded on tribalism.... the tension and stiffnesd are based on tribalism. The Ewes, Gas, Northerners and other minor tribes have age long hatred for Asantes. They fear Asantes. They jealous Asante rich history and influence. This has panned out to NPP being equated to Asantes and NDC being equated to antiAsante or other minor tribes. Ndc has performed badly but the fact that NPP are likely to replace them does not go with Ewes, Gas etc... Hence the jitteriness. This has been compounded by the fear of Akufo Ado.. who is known will apply the laws against the thieves, corrupt high officials. The tension will never cease. It's interesting.
