  Dr Okoampa-Ahoofe, the problem with your narrative, as with Mr K.B. Asante's imagination that Dr Kwame Nkrumah would have accepted the re-settlement of the two Guantanamo detainees in Ghana is that no one knows with any accuracy what Nkrumah would have done. The whole point is that Ghana's Kwame Nkrumah is dead!
  
  Given that Kwame Nkrumah didn't know and say anything about the 9/11 attacks, President George Bush's "war on terror", his views on Guantanamo Bay Prison and the inhumane conditions the alleged terrorists were kept, the increasing threat of Islamic terrorism and the terrifying consequences for a country's safety and security by helping re-settle Islamic jihadists, and obviously the public concerns.
  
  Today, in international politics and diplomatic relations, ideological positions, principles, tone, tactics, ties and attitude increasingly change towards indeed the U.S. and Russia. Goodness knows what Kwame Nkrumah would have thought of the Islamic terrorism of ISIS/Al-Qaeda/Boko Haram -linked groups we face today and public concerns.

Learn from history but dont let one person's thinking become a religion. This is exactly what has held the so called Nkrumahists from moving on and making progress.
