We are yellow belly cowards in Ghana even with all the brash and silly agitations by the NPP and NDC foot soldiers. A terrorist is in the eye of the beholder. Is the state of Israel right in labeling Hamas a terror group? Are Palestinians right to label all Israelis as terrorists? Should there be bombing before an act can be characterized as terrorism? Could slowly poisoning communities or starving them to death be considered a form of terrorism? We're afraid of the bogeyman in Ghana even as others destroy our land, rivers, and societal moral norms searching for riches even while we import foods with dangerous poisonous production processes to Ghana. But our slow deaths are somehow preferable over other forms even while the NPP and NDC talk about civil war in 2016 if things don't go either way. Who gave the NPP and NDC the power over lives in Ghana? Who decides the quality of life in Ghana? If allowing the Gitmo two in Ghana invites trouble then ECOWAS has given us more problems than the organization is worth. Criminals who have caused death of Ghanaians are terrorists and some come to us care of ECOWAS and AU.
