  THIS IS AN EXAMPLE OF THE CAUSE OF OUR WOES...Two officials at the Keta Government Hospital have been found to have stolen GH?576,000 from the hospital’s internally generated funds meant to buy drugs and other logistics to serve the Keta Community.
  The revelations were made at Parliament's Public Accounts Committee sitting Thursday where audited accounts of the Health Ministry were examined.
  Mr. Asilenudzi Hayford and his assistant Mr. Francis Dagbale altered 96 signed cheques by changing the original figures and words on the already signed cheques.
  Through this method, they managed to withdraw higher amounts than originally indicated on the cheques.
  The shocking fraud occurred between January 2010 and May 2011.
  After an audit found GH?264,000 to have been unaccounted for, further checks into the expenses in 2010 showed a shortfall of another GH? 312,000.
  Management has had a very difficult time trying to retrieve the monies. Although Francis Dagbale was prosecuted, a judge ordered that they refund 25,000 or face a 10-year jail sentence.
  They paid the fine with cheeky ease, parliament was told to the shocking reaction of MPs.
  Management of the hospital says they are struggling to institute a civil action against the two officials and have been left frustrated by the courts and the Attorney-General’s department.
  "We are supposed to go to court again to a civil case to retrieve the money but we couldn't get the Attorney-General to do that for us. We have written to the state attorneys, no response has come. They only call us to say they are busy" officials of the hospital told Parliament

The last paragraph reads;"By not opening everything up, the government has failed. It is disheartening!! An informed citizenry will be better positioned to sympathize with the government than make themselves available for the opposition to deceive, manipulate, and use for negative politicking. Who in government is really responsible anymore".
  
  Well, I am finding it difficult to disambiguate the ambiguities thereof, but my tingling senses are telling me you are deliberately baiting or provoking needless insults to yourself.

  Are you not being annoying for identifying the failures and ineptitudes of Incompetent Mahama and his Bus-Rebranding 'Jugnus' and ,yet, telling the Ghanaian worker to sympathize with same and maintain the status quo? Anyways I don't blame you. Ghana is my motherland,the only place I got, and I don't think you would care that much even if Mahama sell Ghana, since your umbilical cord is still attached to Togo, your fatherland. You are a pretender.

  SSSS... for police and military staff for politics. Since then doctors pharmacists, lecturers, nurses and other professionals and workers have fought for more under SSSSs. Remember NAGRAT UTAG, TEWU, GMA running battles. NDC GOVT destroyed the economy.. pumping monies into salaries without corresponding growth in the economy. NDC overall Invompetence is killing Ghana

  The economic challenges the country is going through have to do with the Single Spine Salaries,as we are being made to believe. Even so what is the government doing to curtail the number of personnel who are on those salaries ...

  The economic challenges the country is going through have to do with the Single Spine Salaries,as we are being made to believe. Even so what is the government doing to curtail the number of personnel who are on those salaries? Another unpardonable action is the appointment of several political Deputy Ambassadors and High Commissioners to our diplomatic missions abroad.The NPP also did it but for a government of a party said to be socialist-inclined how does the NDC government justify this? The position of deputy in our missions is not an appointed one because already several of the Heads are political appointees.Is this situation not contributing to our present malaise if you compute the salaries,allowances, airfares,accommodation etc for the persons involved? How do you justify imposing higher taxes and utility bills on Ghanaians when you don't adopt policies to reduce the wage bill?
