  ndc is very busy chopping ur monies daily but all u think about is tribalism?......stupid fools....the chop chop is what has destroyed our country so badly so quit the tribalism and fight ndc thievery....daily thievery.....listening to the full details about the busrebranding, u will be shocked at ndc blatant thievery which is still ongoing yet we continue to fight under tribal politics bcos its the only way ndc can divide and rule ghana in order to remain in power just to continue stealing, stealing stealing......ide biiiiii kekekekeekke stealing is what has destroyed ghana cedi from 1.12 ghc to the dollar in 2008 to the present rate of 4.0 ghc to one dollar....such is the extent of thievery of the ruling ndc govt.....stupid fools shine ur eyes in the interest of ur kids and ghana and stop this cheap ndc tribalism and confusion

  In the case of Ho, I personally felt that the best institution to convert into a University should have been the BISHOP HERMAN COLLEGE located at Kpando. Sadly this Uni was placed at Ho (Sokode).
  
  I visited this College only once, but its environment remains too fresh in my memory. It's superb fro University.
  
  Your statement "....that it was a previous western college of KNUST which was strategically located because of its proximity to the mines to providing practical hand on experience to students..." is rather incorrect. The Tarkwa Technical Institute was there long before; then it was Tarkwa Shool of Mines before the UST's Institute of Mining and Mineral Engineering "absorbed" it.
  
  In any case, most of your points make good sense.

  Somanya is part of the Accra plains which is already congested. There are a lot if institutions in Accra which is in the same corridor as Somanya. NDC disrespected the chiefs and people of Eastern. Mahama never consulted them in the location of the University.

But I used that example cos knust didn't establish an entirely different campus when they saw the need to establish a campus in tarkwa n not takoradi with the focus on mining but took.advantage of the already existing structures of TTI and it was later made a fully fledge university instead of establishing a new western varsity.
