That amounted to the 9bn cedis at the time. That 8.1bn USD is still in our book and with current exchange rate of 3.8it is now 30 bn ghc now.world market price for crude was 23 USD in November 2008. Gallon was sold at 5.7 ghc which was equivalent to 5 USD. The current price of 14.5 per gallon is equal to 3.8 USD per gallon. The through is that whereas we bought a gallon of petrol at 5 dollars when the world crude price was only 23 dollars under npp , we are currently buying the the same product at 3.8 dollars at the time the crude price is 28 USD. People like Ebbo exposes their stupidity when they try to play politics . Politic is for smart people andnot for the daft.

Surely, this government is insensitive. It's as if government is separate from citizens of the country. This can only happen in a country like Ghana. In neighbouring Burkina Faso, the youth took to the streets because they thought "...enough is enough..." In our country, our "fear of God" is making us too soft. God help us.
