Mr. Hweehwee man, resent complains that is in the air that some Government officials were shareholders of the Fulani herds. This Government officials has turned death ears on the complains and the cry of the Agog citizens. When a policeman is sent to arrest a Fulani herdsman for a crime committed, the Fulani Kill a cow for the police and that will be it, the matter is thrown away. I think that when something like this happen then the Agogo youth will have to take matters into their own hands. You know that our system is corrupt and it is always the poor arable farmer who suffer. I am waiting to see the first time a Ghanaian herdsman will be able to go to Nigeria with his herds to pastor on Nigerian crops. Tell those Fulanis to go back to Nigeria because Nigeria has a bigger grassland than Ghana. Agogoma, yentie obiaaaaaaaaaa.

Richard Amoako Ansong, you sound knowledgeable but stupid. The reason is simple. All that you have enumerated notwithstanding, the people of Agogo must gave their right to life, liberty and freedom not trampled upon especially by illegal migrants.
Your stand point like that of the President on the Gitmo prisoners is COMPASSION. But compassion must not be exercised at one's peril. That is why Bishop Osei Bonsu the Catholic Bishop's Conf President told President Mahama that compassion goes with reasoning and block heads and sycophants like Koku Anyidoho whose teeth are greenish-brown did not understand.
If nobody will come to your aid must one sit down and die?
What mind do you carry?

A very good admonitions but what is surprising is the fact that, a competent court has ruled that these normads be evicted from those areas many years ago. Why is the court orders not follow till now? Who is responsibly for taking actions on the ruling? And why did he refuse to take actions? Secondly, why has the district and the regional security councils refused to address this serious issues for all this while? Honestly Mr. writer, I hundred percent support the actikno of the youth. If I had come from that area, I would lead them against these nuisance of human beings. Is the chief not aware of what his subjects are going through? Persuations has failed. Let the youth use any means to get rid of them. Ghana being a corrupt country, you would be surprised that somebody is taking money from the cattle owners and urging the fulanis to stay on, kill, maim and rape the women whiles their cattle graze on the farns. I urge the youth of Agogo to go ahead and free themselves from these nuisance once and for all. Enough of the feet dragging whiles lives are lost in daily basis.

Reading the article, I was eager to scroll down to see the name of the auther to give me a clue where he might be coming from as he may be a fulani. I still believe he is and the name he chose a pseudo name for the purpose of this article.

Why should we entertain such worms among us if it's not for absence of patriotism? I dare the chiefs of that area to swear that they have never benefited from the cattle owners. In which part of the world would this nonsense be going on for years? Is it also humanitarian gesture? And somebody is here quoting articles and clauses. There is also laws by which these fulanis should abide. How many of our people should they kill before we take actions? What use is Fulani to us if in Nigeria, where they came from, they don't even regard them as human beings? Absolute nonsense to read this trash about human Right concerning these maggots. They should come to the Volta region and see what will happen to them. Nonsense.

When authorities in the country sit aloof because they own the cows being taken care of by the fulanis what do you expect the citizenry to do. I have known about this issues in the news since about 5 years now and you want to tell me the so called law enforcement and social protectors are not aware? Give me a break with all of your knowledge of the laws. I will take a gun there if I come from that area. Note that the fulani problem are two fold - Human and Environment. They have created a culture of self preservation by putting the fear of the lord in the indigens where ever they may find themselves to have acces to the land and be able to live there. Note that Every where they go, they degrade the land and desertification follows. So please shelf that book-long of the law and go tackle the powers-that-be to do the right thing by their people

Economic Community of West Africa - ECOWAS has failed miserably on the Fulani issue; that is seeing to the transmigration of the Fulani pastoralists in the subregion. From Senegal to northern Cameroons, Fulani herdsmen are seen traversing with their cattle looking for vegetation & water.
They have been doing this for centuries, way before Uthman Dan Fodio in the 1820's.
With the increasing drought conditions brought on by climate change, it is the obligation of ECOWAS to see that the nomadic Fulani adapts to the conditions created by climate change by creating stations for them throughout the Sahelian zone to take breaks, get fodder & water.

Indeed, truth hurts! I agree perfectly with the writer, institutions must be allowed to work. We can't build strong institutions if we don't allow the system to work. Great write-up, kudos Mr writer.
