  E.A.Ammah's quest to explain the conflict between Christianity and Ga traditional religion and cultural ceremony which was erroneously described by the missionaries as heathen practices and which our Ga and other Ghanaian Christians subscribed to was what informed his ethnographic vision and the need to correct those erroneous impressions.
  
  As a royal himself,he did not see Ga culture, religion and traditional practices as heathen practices but as a set of cultural identity or feeling of belonging to a group.
  
  He saw those practices as part of our self-conception and self-perception which is related to Ga nationalism, ethnicity, religion, which sets us apart as a people with our own distinct culture and identity.
  
  Today like the visionary that he was,he had been vindicated in all his argument that the Ga people like any tribe have their own tradition and culture which is not a heathen practice.
  
  Christianity and the other religions have come to accept our festival as part of our heritage and tradition which is now respected.
  
  Now there is a fusion between our culture and christian practices which would be alien to Christianity during his time.Many of the things said about Ga culture and practices which he objected to had become an acceptance and those who thought Christianity and African religion cannot live side by side have been proved wrong.
