Sam so it comes to past that even the country which president pays tax borrow from China more than what Ghana borrows around.

Hogwash, Kwame!
Leo L. Sam has made the better Ghana-centered case.
If members of a government do not pay income taxes, what moral authority do they have to expect other citizens to pay income tax?

According to the 1992 constitution the president is not to pay tax. The Vice President pays tax as is stipulated by the constitution. A leader of the opposition pays tax from his private employment if he earns salary or interest from that. If a General Secretary of a party is paid salary above the minimum which he is supposed to pay tax, then that is done on behalf of him by the party, just like any employee in Ghana before he receives his salary. Minister in government as stipulated by the constitution pay tax on their salaries. However a shadow minister in any of the political parties must be in employment or be self employed before he or she, or receives salary from his party. All members of parliament pay tax which is deducted at source before their salaries are paid to them, also those who contribute to SSNIT will have the same deducted before they are paid. Prof. Lungu you wrote as a person who is so annoyed that drank hot water without caution.
