I know you're writing free verse that's not metred or pretends to any form of rhyming. But it still doesn't give you the poetic license to spell the man's name "anyhowly".

I know you're writing free verse that's not metred or pretends to any form of rhyming. But it still doesn't give you the poetic license to spell the man's name "anyhowly".

His name is officially "Akufo-Addo". It is hyphenated and has only one "f", not two! True, it can be spelt in different ways but it's only right to use the way he has consistently spelt it in his public life.

Anyway, your opinion of the man is one many Ghanaians won't agree with. Your ode will not do a thing to change their views. You can only preach to the choir. Non-members are not going to converted. Not even if you spell the name correctly.
