I used to think about this alot - how Christians could follow religious leaders who are nothing like Jesus Christ - until I realized that they WANT to be deceived. A lot of people who go to church every Sunday, if Jesus were around today, would be the first ones trying to get him crucified. People who follow 'money pastors' like Pastor Chris and Creflo Dollar are doing so because they too are hoping to get money. God has given indiviuals greater intelligence in specific areas, but in general we are all the same, and well all know that popular men of God, who use our money to buy houses and cars, are not living up to what we are reading in the Bible. Moreover due to the shortage of actual men of God in the world people are forced to cleave to the likes of these.
