Menstruation is NEVER a curse in Ghana; the author should have considered the historical facts surrounding the subject in question before making any conclusion or inference. Yesterday was not today-
1.the modern day sanitary pads/underwears for convenience use and
2. the 21st century bathrooms.
Then consider those days when our beloved grandmothers went through hardship times of washing the menstrual clothes three to five times depending ones body chemistry.
Any generation that fails to study the origin of its cultural practices turns to insult the ancestors. Yes, we all know that culture is dynamic and evolves with time. Please study the culture of other nations like; the Arabs, Jews and the Chinese and the Indians to have a holistic view on WOMEN'S MENSTRUAL culture.

Stupid debate .A common level of science in biology eludes this infantile myth. I knew fertilaisation in female reproduction before going to school ! Likewise our mothers and sister who never even had the oppoturnity !
