But methinks, is that not what Afia is doing but Francis takes exception to that too?
Look, these are two public figures with a large following, (one an MP voted for by some people) and the other a popular radio host and socialite, whatever it means, etc., who are indulging in some uncouth public bad-mouthing Ghanaweb style, and some of you want them to be left alone to continue???
Of course, when Ken called for the beating and killing of Ewes and Gas by the Asantes (I wonder why they always want the Asantes to do their dirty jobs for them, not their own unknown tribal groups? Must be some beguiling reputation of Asantes as hired assassins, mercenaries or something, whatever. Nyebro Yao, thanks for knowing about The Civilizing Process by Elias Norbert or some similar literature (you sure reflect the contents), and therefore writing these equivalents of tarring and feathering these social deviants. We in Africa are yet to even hit the Reformation stage, not to talk of the Enlightenment Period, so what you write is like pearls before swines, and some hogs they are!

This is because trokosi shrines are patronized by all ethnic groups some of whom have lived in the trokosi belt for God knows how long.
I think if I remember correctly you gave a brilliant historical analysis of the practice among the Adas/Krobos...before it took root in the Volta Region.
In fact my own research shows that different forms of trokosi is practiced outside Ghana.
This is also why I keep saying witch camps, sakawa, trokosi, ritual murders such as cutting human heads to bury with kings, and political corruption are national, not ethnic or regional, issues.
My regards to your two daughters and Efo Solo. Anyway we never read from your brilliant China-based daughter again. She is such a nice and insightful writer. She should be writing more for some of us if time is on her side.
