Man Arrested For Having Sex With 7 sheep
29, GNA -
A 36-year-old carpenter was on Tuesday sentenced to 36 months imprisonment in hard labour by a Kumasi Circuit Court for carnally knowing seven sheep.
Kwaku Amable pleaded guilty to the charge.
Prosecuting, Police Chief Inspector Comfort Baffour-Kyei told the Court presided over by Mr Justice Emmanuel Amoh-Yartey that the complainant, Adamu Issaka is a security man with the Kent Security Firm, who live with Amable in the same area at Buokrom Limex Quarry. She explained that Adamu who rears sheep at his backyard noticed that seven of his livestock had died mysteriously within a month.
At about midnight on March 25, the complainant was awoken by the bleating of one of the sheep in a pen compelling him to find the cause.
Adamu approached the pen with a flash light and saw a pair of bathroom sandals at the entrance as well as a towel hanging on the pen.
He became more curious and when he entered it, he detected that one of the sheep was lying down weak and upon examination found out that some whitish fluid was lodge in its vulva.
Adamu became astonished and decided to look round to ascertain who might have entered the pen and to his surprised, the light fell on Amable, who was hiding in his backyard garden naked.
Amable started pleading for mercy and asked Adamu not to disclose it to anyone. The complainant agreed but later changed his mind and made a report to the police leading to the arrest of the convict. In his caution statement, he confessed sleeping with four of the animals on different occasions.

Man jailed for having sex with a sheep
Dzodze, Nov 27, GNA - Yao Flah, 23, a kente weaver, is to go prison for 12 months for having sex with a female sheep and killing it afterwards. He pleaded guilty to the charges of an unnatural carnal knowledge and cruelty to an animal at a District Court at Dzodze, which sentenced him to 12 months for each charge to run concurrently.
Police Inspector Emmanuel Ankrah at Tadzewu, prosecuting, said Flah lived at Akanu, near Tadzewu on the Dzodze-Akatsi road. He said on November 23, the complainant, the owner of the sheep, returned home at around 1800 hours to find the tethered pregnant sheep missing.
Mr Ankrah said the complainant during a search found it (sheep) dead in a nearby bush with a patch of fluid around its genitalia. He said following a hint, the complainant summoned Flah before the elders, where he admitted having had sex with the animal before piercing its throat with a knife.
Mr Ankrah said Flah was thereafter handed over to the police. He told the court the convict was sometime ago arrested for defiling a juvenile but prosecution was stalled because of lack of interest by the complainant.
Flah prayed the court for leniency saying he was drunk but Mr Anthony Abebrese, Presiding Magistrate, said he was a deviant who should be put away for sometime to reform.

I also have heard of Pastor Otabil's good teachings, and I can understand your 'confusion' - here is the explanation: POLITICS. When it comes to politics, people don't make sense. To be fair, Pastor O is entitled to his own opinion although I would have expected such a respected intelligent man to remain neutral or side with NDC. It really is too bad.

We expect the government to provide services like well equip hospitals, good drinking water, schools, and also create avenues for agriculture and entrepreneurship. The government is not doing that and Pastor Otabil has every right to complain because he is part of that society. Educational standard is in decline, health sector is deteriorating, farmlands are turning into galamsay pits. The politicians will fly out of the country to treat themselves for any mere sickness, but the majority of the citizens will flock to these less equip hospitals for treatment and later die after all, the doctors only give them painkillers. No better regulations to curb galamsay and the list go on and on. Because Mahama government was seeking $3billion Chinese loan he allowed their citizens to flock to Ghana in search of Gold and they end up destroying the water bodies. So many people that understand Otabil's sentiment knows that we would rather have better hospitals and schools, drinking water than shoddy roads. How many people can start their own business at this time when the cost of living is high? That is what pastor Otabil is talking about. Sometimes it's better for readers to digest meaning into articles they read before commenting. Things will only get worse in the next five years in Ghana because few people are now farming and majority of our foods will be imported. I think the few visionary people that we have in Ghana would agree with me that it will only get worse in Ghana with the direction the country is going. I will not blame Mahama alone though! When things are not going right pastors have the right to point out the mistakes. Pastors in United States of America also comment on political issues how much more Ghana. When politicians mismanage a country, it affects all it citizens one way or the other.

Mahmoud Jajah religion and logic are no bed follows. It is a fact that the majority of you are under some sort of mass hallucination when you listen to Dr. Mensah Otabil. In the days of Jesus Christ the school was in the churches and the priest thought people free of charge and goes to the temple to eat some of the offering to God.
I am an atheist but I will not complain when I sell what must be given to people free of charge and Jesus happen to come and chain me. I am not a religious person, but I agree with Jesus on that score that the house of his father, religion and knowledge should not be a matter of exchange of money. So when it come to talking about the practical and not moral, Jesus will seat with me at the same table and shown the presence of people like Dr. Mensah Otabil.
How are you people thinking outside the box when the majority of you do not know that most of what you are thought is trash. It is a fact that it is not the countries what commercialized everything that are on top of the world education and health index, but countries that make education and health free. Why is it also a case that the private sector does not pay teachers who teach in state institution, security service personnel and other employees of the state are their sector of employment not also business. To me the private sector around the world are just thieves and corrupt.

Dr. Pastor Otabil is a flawed human being who confuses greed with destiny and selfishness to preservation. He argued that government must relinquish everything it owns so individuals can own and run them effectively and efficiently. The morally bankrupt Otabil did not explain how all of Ghana benefit from the human, mineral and natural resources of the country while he and others claim tax exempt status for the things and monies they make off the very system he pretends to abhor. Should the government continue to let him have his tax exempt status and use the money to buy national property and run them without paying taxes? Should society allow people of his kind to buy resources and monopolize the market to hold society for ransom or dictate life’s existence in Ghana? What would his God say about his nonsense since God who supposedly created him does not expect much from an unrepentant jackass?
Mansa Otabil is a malcontent just like the ignorant political Science professor at KNUST who is as blind as a bat to his inferior intellect and all that he espouses.
