In any advanced democracy, Charlotte Osei would have been impeached and removed for stealing. Yes, stealing is the right technical term for receiving paychecks as the Electoral Commissioner and from the Insurance company.

In any advanced democracy, Charlotte Osei would have been impeached and removed for stealing. Yes, stealing is the right technical term for receiving paychecks as the Electoral Commissioner and from the Insurance company.

If the Electoral Commissioner had drawn the double payments for one or two months, we could have chalked it off as an overlay or mistake but he continued to cash the checks from the two companies for six good months.

When this woman was appointed as the Electoral Commissioner, she was made aware that she could not hold any other paying job so intentionally receiving another payment from a job at the Insurance company was fraudulent on her part which amounted to stealing.

Charlotte Osei is academically smart, but not mature to serve the republic of Ghana in the capacity as an Electoral Commissioner. This job should have been offered to a Ghanaian who knows the inside out of the Ghanaian politics and not to a novice like Ms. Osei, especially, the way the ruling NDC government wants her to handle it. Her maturity level and decisions she's taking today, can plunge the country into a civil war. She cannot handle the task she's been assigned to effectively at this time, for lack of maturity!

EC has disregarded new voters register. With all the controversy in 2012, its a wonder how Ghana should go into 2016 with the same baggage of confusions . Is Ghana so docile and a laughing stock ? Ghana has no real outrage.? Ghana hoodwinked by EC nothingness? The whole idea does not make sense to me... going into 2016 with virtually no correction in the Voters Register. Ghana deserves better. The decimated Ghana has bowed to the forces of evil of NDC being pumped out by the Harlot .

For starters, everyone who is appointed into any high office in Ghana is immediately made aware of the need to declare their assets as well as any potential “conflict of interest situation that they may be aware of”. So for a lawyer, it is patently false to say that for six solid months, Mrs Osei did not know that she was taking remunerations from two separate state institutions.

No, these are not mistakes, she is either incompetent or else she is doing it deliberately as a ploy to paint the NPP, in particular, black in the eyes of the Ghanaian electorate, which has been an abysmal failure so far.

Just imagine the parties that were invited for the two-day forum. In any civilised society, any party that won less than 10% of the votes of the last election would have been excluded from that forum. Instead, it was loaded with the Ekua Donkors of Ghana, to trivialise such an important exercise.

Next, instead of studying the report of the forum, the woman came out the very next day with “a committee” to review and make recommendation of the deliberations of the forum,” How very outrageous!.

Her next sophomoric action was to form another committee behind the backs of IPAC and the main political parties, if you believe that the committee was actually not formed from Jubilee House. What exactly is the purpose of this committee? Why can’t the EC and the woman take one independent decision for a change? What are they paid for? With just eight months to go, what decision has the EC made itself so far, in connection with Election 2016?

Countries in Africa that have had major problems after elections do not usually just wake up one morning and decide to go to war. It usually begins with such irresponsible and dishonest dealings as that woman is engaging in. With the kind of suffering that Ghanaians home and abroad (through remittances) have been going through, it is really amazing for anyone to assume that the mass of the people will sit tamely for this Osei woman to foist another four years of hardships, stealing, incompetence and sheer dishonesty on them!

If she burns her back just to accommodate you by forming independent committees to help, just to make things look above board,you jump and accuse of incompetence.

Any independent action of hers is taken by your lot as a decision from the Flag Staff House.What you lot are doing is to frustrate the EC with the hope that you can bring it under your control and manipulate it.She is just too tough for that bait.

Elections are won by appealing to the electorate but it seems to me that you are devoting all your time to attacking the ec.How come it that you won two elections under the ec but still the ec is your arch enemy.Short of your winning every election the ec will remain your boggy man.

English lessons apart, you do not run an important organisation like the EC but just setting up committees.

The EC should have waited to read the report that was collated at the forum before making a decision. Coming out the very next day with a committee meant she did not even read the report of the forum. Using a committee looked like passing the buck!

Charlotte has not run any election so far, let alone anyone winning one under her stewardship!

There is the constitutionally established IPAC. She does not need any other committee to do anything, unless she had ulterior motives, as I tried to point out.

I am just an ordinary Ghanaian who runs a business whose taxes are poured down the drain by people like this Charlotte Osei woman.

In Africa, most elections are won by crudities like the pathetic spectacle Afari-Gyan and his minions displayed at the petition hearing, a spectacle that has opened Ghana to ridicule around the world.

Allow the ec commissioner to find her bearing by leaving her alone to do this difficult job without these constant impediments.

She told the whole world that Arhin and Azumah were selected by the Peace Council and NSS after sending them letters to choose people from their organizations to be representative to that committee.

Both agencies have come out to deny that they received any such letters and they are not the ones who chose those people.

Why is the EC lying about the two NDC card bearing members to the committee when those people were supposed to be neutral?
