Mr Duodu, you like speaking in proverbs too much for my liking. Yes, the Akans sayn that "oba nyansafuor yebu no ber na yennka n'asem" (The wise person is to be spoken to in proverbs, not in plain language.)
But are you implying, by following that practice, that the NDC Government is composed of "abanyansafuor" (wise people) who can
understand the nuances of your admonitions? Or that if they understand them, they will care two hoots about what it could mean to them and their families?
Mr Duodu, please call a spade a spade.
Please let them know that in Kumase, a well-known crook who became rich at the expense of public projects, was sentenced to CARRY LATRINE FOR 65 YEARS. In 1979.
That because of the envy aroused in a section of the populace by money-flaunters, people with more than a mere 50,000 Cedis (thought to be a huge sum at the time) were made to take it to the bank and that many never saw their money again.
That people who used their offices to BORROW money to build houses, but who did not steal any actual money, we tied to a stake and SHOT, because of the way they were perceived to be corrupt.
Tell them, Sir, about the number of prosperous companies that were seized and ruined -- like Kowus ad Fattal --
because of their relationship with the power structure.
And also tell the, how in trying to reverse some of these obvious injustices, the Limann Admnistration incurred the wrath of sections of the populace and did not live to see the say, and how after Limann was booted out, the judiciary suffered tragic consequences for supporting those who wanted to reverse some of the AFRC decisions.
I thought as a historian of the times, you could bring some of these situations to light. But instead you talk about "'those who forget their history are doomed to relive it."
Because people do have short memories, you have to remind them in detail, Mr Duodu!
Anyway, thank you for giving me the opportunity to address the issue of the create loot and share culture we are seeing now in the NDC leadership.
I urge NDC members to think carefully about what it could mean in future to be labelled an NDC person.

Achimota which is in Ga ,Accra should be the last place to look for a forest project. The Eastern,Ashanti and Brong Ahafo regions have more forest lands in Ghana. We have to change our minds of Accra being Ghana.

Im sorry but your response to the article reeks of a PLOY THAT IS CONSTANTLY used by antagonists to stifle any sensible discussion. What on earth has the Achimota problem got to do with the AFRC regime? people like you are symptomatic of the flight of common sense and dearth of deep thinking that is killing this country. How many years have we been using the excuse of injustices in 1979 to stifle any sensible discussion of a pressing problem. Enough!! I wont be surprised if you own a property on achimota land hence your flawed response. this matter will not be digressed from; in spite of your lame attempts.

Leaders with guts will arise, probably sooner than later, with a rare passion to right wrongs.
May be this will take five, 10, 50, 100 years but mark it in your dairy and calendar and tell your children to do the same...
Cheers

We must resist the destruction of our water bodies and forests.
