Komla Agbeli Gbedeman remained a comrade of Kwame Nkrumah till death. Independence to J.B.Danquah and Kofi Abrefa Busia was a prestigious venture. Busia went to Britain to tell the British that they should not remove the chain of subjugation from our feet and hands. Busia said that the State House which now houses parliament was a white elephant.

CIA report later confirmed Gbedema's lead in the over throw of Kwame Nkrumah. All national leaders must work with various leadership styles, and Kwame Nkrumah is no exception

I am convinced that even if you allow the black african to educate himself to be a professor emeritus he will still be a dummy and all his knowledge will always fall short (if he was not born a genius like Nkrumah)...
did you also know that, Nkrumah implemented bricks (for building houses)company that would ensure no infrastructural deficit in the country...and the people called him megalomaniac...Ghanaians and our stupidity... Now the housing deficit of the country is unprecedented thanks to our foolishness...
There are a lot of projects that i could cite but it's of no point...
If the writer of this piece is smart and wise he would have realised that if Gbedemah was right, immediately after the overthrow of the so called megalomaniac Nkrumah, all the 'little by little' form of development he gbede wanted would have transformed the country and by now we wouldn't have the gigantic problems we face today.
Nkrumah was smart, gbedemah was business minded which is not bad (but amazingly he was consumed by capitalist ideas which in it sense is good but not to illiterate and un-westernised Ghana).. So it was good that we start with socialist policy to ensure a fundamental consensus nation building (which will make every citizen feel proud- now how many ghanaian really feel for their country, that could happen through socialism considering the african mentality). Now look at china, they are not fools of course they know capitalism is better but given their prevailing condition and the Asian way of thinking they knew it would destroy their nation without a gradual shift from communism to capitalist democracy..
We should not just look at political systems (espe with a lens that only sees the physical flavors of the people enjoying it.... we should consider the root and attitude of the people first...And that is what Nkrumah understood, you can see all that in his policies even the joining of the Non alliance movement...

Here is the question with folks who take lessons from partisan hacks and or Nkrumah detractors: why not list accomplishments and achievements since the demise of Nkrumah and his CPP? We've come a long way haven't we?

If Nkrumah had listened to what you claim is Gbedema's stand, then Ghana would have been even many more years behind in progress.I think this letter is unhelpful to your cause, if anything at all, it exposes you as an anti development and anti progress party.

Your intellectuals in charge of your Researches must always remember that Ghana has come a long way to have folks who boldly question the status quo, and do not simply take every single word of those with big Academic titles with automatic "Yes Sir, Suh!"
If you don't have the originals of documents you are referring to, do not feign the ultimate source of its contents. That is most annoying, and betrays your Institution as only serving a convenient narrow and slanted view.
The Public will fight, back and try to expose any facetious, or even deceptive, publications from your Institute, and any others out there, that attempt to modify our History to the exclusive taste of your patrons.
Now that you concede your Article is a summary, would you not concede also that it could be subjective to suit your political whims?
