71 People just lost their lives in one accident because the money needed to maintain these buses are in good running condition are used to paint stupid President pictures on these buses and you are blaming the the Whitman for making you stupid?

Your leaders go for loans for a project that cost maybe $100 million and ask the loanee to make it $200 million with the extra $100 million shared between your corrupt leaders and the loanee as happened in the AMERI power supply contract recently and you blame the west for the stupidity of your leaders?

After almost 60 years of self rule some idiots are still blaming their foolishness on the west. When are idiotic black folks going to accept responsibility for their foolishness?

Look at the progress the new Tanzania leader is making for cutting down on frivolous expenses by government officials and other stupidities African leaders are known for.

Typical example he made reducing government delegation of 55 officials to a conference abroad to four people. Making government officials travel on coach instead of first class in planes. Eliminating per diem for government officials doing jobs they are paid to do etc.

What Africans have not learned no matter their education level is accepting responsibility for their own actions.

President Obama came to the USA Presidency with a lot of problems left by the previous government but went to work solving the problems he inherited and now the economy is booming. He did not hide in the comfort of blaming the previous administration as we see in Ghana because we have idiotic citizens willing to support foolishly in Ghana.

I agree with the main theme of this piece but I think the argument is a little bit simplistic. Yes, Otabil is playing a certain kind of politics but the author has not really teased out the complexities of the problem.

Christian council too as well as Penticostals and Cheristmatics council. So if all these people are described as NPP then how come that NDC won the election? Has he ever advocated for free water, education and health services for his congregation from which he takes church donations from.

Otabil claims computer expects in Ghana will not achieve the type of success achieved by the founder of FACEBOOK because of the "environment" in Ghana. Where did Otabil achieve his success as a pastor? Is he based in USA? No. Otabil is based in Ghana and achieved his success as a pastor in Ghana. When hypocrites set out to cut others, they often forget that they very likely will be exposed by their own hypocrisy. Such is what has just happened to Otabil. A real motivational speaker would encourage Ghanaian computer and IT experts and entusiasts to continue striving for excellence no matter where they may live or work, and that success often demands not only hard work, but also patience and determination, without the need to cut corners. Countless numbers of men and women are succeeding in various forms of business endevors in Ghana, and Otabil needs to be reminded about that. No motivational speaker sets out to paint a picture of gloom and doom. Otabil is no motivational speaker, for his pronouncements have proven so.

Your Nana Addo is a failure, why is he so desperate to become the president of Ghana with the dubious character everyone is talking about? You all support anyone who insults the president, you lots don't see anything good about whatever the president does. No one is perfect but the president is doing his best. Let Nana tell the electorate what he can also do as an alternative to whatever the president is doing or saying to convince people to vote for him or at most to do better but not to rubbish or attack every message the president says. Ghanaians are not stupid they can see and discern so leave them to be the right judges. Nana's rubbishing of Mahama's achievements will not win him votes, Infact it rather win sympathy for him.
