  Anybody who carefully studied our constitution would realize that it was made for dictatorship, and that's why I call it Rawlings Green Book. From the horse's own month represented by Bagbin, the hands and legs of our parliament are tied by the constitution to render it ineffective. We can't be proud and say that we have separation of powers in our system because the parliament is deliberately made to be a tool and decoration for the executive.
  
  Our system is neither parliamentary nor presidential because the former has a prime minister (first among equals) who sits in parliament with his ministers only chosen from the parliament and shares the chamber with the opposition and its leader for face to face deliberation of policies. The parliamentary system has its own checks and balances embedded in it. The presidential system on the other hand, is based on strict separation of powers (Executive, Legislature and Judiciary) to check the executive president with vast powers from abusing those powers, which are not available to the prime minister who governs through the parliament and not outside it as the executive president does.
  
  In Ghana, we have an executive presidential system without the needed checks and balances to prevent abuse because our parliament is shackled by the constitution to serve as another organ of the executive. I believe it was deliberately done to serve the dictatorial tendencies of Rwalings, and I blame Rawlings and his PNDC Cuban-Style Communist Dictatorship for all these shortcomings in our constitution.
  
  The mere fact that members of the Council of State are appointed by the sitting president and leave office when he leaves renders them ineffective, far more ineffective than the parliamentarians.

  Most political propagandists like your type are just singing political theories and end up inflicting pain on your selves because of being subjective. If Bawumia was an economist par excellence, why didn't he manage the economy under Prez Kufuor? Or, in simple language; why was NPP kicked out of power?

  You see there are some people as you becaus you know he is a PHD , what ever comes from him is factual even though he maybe talking blues.
  I know your kind are those who believe anything from anybody you think know much so no matter how foolish th is behaving he is the best and that is why many people whom one expects to hear something senseble from always talks foolish.
  Reflect and look at the view point of what someone says before you think it is something that is taken seriously by the lager community.
  Anybody who repeates himself or herself always is not a wise person though.

  I get surprised when people take Bawumia figures serious. Bawumia should know that Ghana has 2 types of debts. One in dollars and another one in cedis. If high exchange rate decreases the cedis in dollar terms does that same logic not applicable to the dollar debt? Is it not also true that any time cedi depreciates the dollar component makes the cedis to also increased in debt? For instance, the 8.1 bn USD debt NPP left in 2008 was about 9.7BN GHC at the time exchange rate was1:1.15. With Today exchange rate of 4 cedis to a dollar, the same 8.1 bn USD left behind by Npp is now 32.8bnGhc.So why did Bawumia only analyse the cedi component alone but left out the dollar component?. I knew Bawumia to be a a dole student back at Tamasco. I was surprised to hear that he now hold a Phd in economics. Bawumia was among the few A level students in Tamasco who failed their A level exams. He later forged his result and gain admission into a university in Malaysia. The fraud was detected and all of those students with fake results were dismissed. Ibn Chambas intervene and awarded all the affected students with Ghana government scholarship which made it possible for Bawumia to get chance to do a diploma course before his first degree. The reason why Bawumia had to do a diploma was because of his weak A levels results. So whenever i head Bawumia talk about the economy with his fake figure i always laugh because i know Bawujia to be junk since his Tamasco days.

They have sold their conscience for a pittance, to the detriment of their children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. While their paid masters are living in mansions, riding in posh cars, and sending their children abroad to continue their education, they wallow in abject poverty. Some are cursed for their wrong doings; such ignorant people called themselves "brave"
