  This is a great and intellectual piece I have read this year in GW. First, I am ashamed as a fellow Ghanaian that nobody commented on this article when same people play politics and rain insults on every news on this portal. I implore the admin of GW to not publish any comment that is not related to the topic or has elements of insults or has chronic ethnic politicization in it. Second, I commend the writer and P. K Ndoum for such an accurate and real state of our nation and its people. How can ordinary cholera kill such a number of good citizens??? NOT proud of being Ghanaian at all.

  Dodzi, i am with you. We live in a country where we dont celebrate excellence. Mediocrity and insult is what some people think can change people's life. Ghanaians must shine their eyes.

  And, as I pointed out… from now on, today, we must change our attitudes and our minds. We must realise that form now on we are no longer a colonial but free and independent people. But also, as I pointed out, that also entails hard work. That new Africa is ready to figt his own battles and show that after all the black man is capable of managing his own affairs.
