    The author makes a welcome case for the Ghana Statistical Service to revise its approach to compilation of inflation data, by considering the weights contributed by urban ad rural dwellers.

    The CPI is compiled with data on prices from all over the country, including rural areas.

    The CPI is weighted to reflect the relative contribution of rural and urban dwellers.

    Ghana statistical service do not and never change its methodology of compilling cpi or what generally refers to as inflation .since the challenge was erroneous
