a degree from Nicaragua? why not Togo or the Congo? I enjoyed the Sakawa part of the article loads. Does publishing an article on Ghanaweb qualify as a peer-reviewed article?
Sam, you make me laugh...:))
It does not qualify as a peer-reviewed articles.
Can you tell us which University in the United States has an online PhD as faculty member? I'm waiting for your response. This is absolutely not true. I challenge you to mention the University.
The US is not like Ghana which has one Accreditation Board. Universities in the US do not have to yield to hiring standards set by the Dept. of Education. If you need an example simply go online.
You have not answered my question. Yes, the US has many accreditation bodies but faculty in North America has similar entry requirements. Just mention one university an online degree holder is a faculty member.
Let me add that even in some US universities, you need post-doc. before you are offered faculty position.
You keep setting your own standards and expect every nation to follow, right? Do your research and find out the meaning of accreditation in the US before making blanket statements about US Higher Education Institutions.
Old ladies get nervous when dry bones are mentioned in a proverb!!
I have degrees and they are from a Regionally Accredited US Higher Educational Institution. I attended classes on campus (in a traditional classroom setting) with class population of not more than 17 students per class. My pr ...

Congratulations. But you need to be educated on accreditation and online issues. Are you satisfied with our "pass no way" problem?
Kobla Dotse, we have to sustain the momentum in order to flush out these criminals from our education system.
So you got your degree from a reputable university. Can you tell us what makes your university reputable? That is the issue; this SMC is not accredited and therefore a bogus institution designed to dupe criminals from the glo ...

Some of you think those commenting on this key issue are just school drop-outs in Ghana. Don't profess to know more about accreditation in the US. Do you know where I am? US never jokes with quality.

UCN is accredited by the Government of Nicaragua so the writer needs to check his facts before publishing this defamatory article.
Are there any standards stipulated in any government in Ghana? Ghanaian universities still recruit lecturers based on who knows whose father, mother, sisters. Go to IPS and see how Joshua Alabi recruited his own wife to head ...
