  This is a very important submission that should be read by our politicians and so-called men of God. In Ghana and most African countries, religious people are vehemently trying to erode the thick line between religion and secularism. And most pathetically with the connivance of politicians whose motives are usually at odds with their religious partners. The issue of homosexuality has been twisted out of logic and common sense. It is absurd when Islamic and Christian leaders cry out loud when most of them happen to be most guilty. Or is because sodomy is acceptable because it is done by the ruling classes and the rich in those Islamic theocracies?

  I would like to believe our Holy Books do not contain only penal codes. Jesus brought a new perspective on religion and true to form people have made it about crime and punishment. How is your relationship with God? Psychologists would have said Adam and Eve had ADHD because they were distracted by the prospect of having intelligence. I wonder what made them capable of working out this argument? Anyway, God kept them alive in spite of their folly. They became farmers and shepherds, took wives, drank wine. Let us find clues to life in our Holy Books.
